The people posting who used the code have repeatedly said they don't feel guilty but you keep posting in the hope that they will.

I've had no email from them cancelling, but was due for delivery Monday and never came. No refund either yet. When I click on order details link order is still there and says "tracking coming soon".

I can’t cancel it because it just gives an error that cancelling isn’t possible as the order is being processed.

I have a feeling if I contact them I’ll be drawing attention to it and they will cancel it, but in the mean time they have £££ of my money held and I’m just sitting here not really knowing what’s happening.

Would you just wait and see or contact them?

This is exactly the same as my order.

I’m not glad you are in the same situation, but I’m glad I’m not the only one, I was really starting to think I was!

Have you tried to contact them or are you just going to wait and see what happens?

I just got an email that Jo Malone stuff is on its way. The rest of the goods have arrived already.

I ordered 2 perfumes before we knew about the glitch, and used the code to get £20 off (that’s it, just 2 perfumes, nothing else)
Yet I haven’t received a dispatch notice, and when I go into my account it says delivery within 7 days, 7.30am to 6.00pm.
There is 2 little clicky things, one saying ‘why can’t I track?’ and one says ‘why can’t I cancel?’
I’m in John Lewis limbo apparently!

I contacted JL before delivery because I felt guilty. They said just to refuse delivery. Most of the parcels were recalled anyway but one arrived. I refused delivery, and then they re delivered it anyway 2 days later (I was out and they just left it).

So now I need to arrange to return it, but they have already refunded me.

However, another parcel that was recalled has not been refunded and is in status “return requested”.

All quite confusing!

My last package just arrived with all the hotel chocolat in , all completely smashed up and a penguin mug all broken. I guess the packers knew it was all free and decided to just chuck it in! Oh well in the bin it goes.

My JL delivery arrived this morning from Royal Mail - despite having an email saying it had been recalled.
I didn’t go crazy (baby clothes and KIN stuff) but has anyone taken any YSL stuff back? I was too panicky when I was buying to properly think and I’ve got stuff that I could gift, but I’d rather exchange.

Mine arrived just fine - YSL for my daughter and my friend and 2 more expensive items I was buying anyway (main Christmas present items) and was delighted to get £20 off.

I was wondering this too. I stupidly sent for make up rather than nail polish or gift sets. Their website says they don't accept returns for "beauty products" and the items don't have seals so they wouldn't know if i had used them, so I doubt it.

I even tried selling on Facebook marketplace but they were rejected as assumed counterfeits

Nah there was someone in the last thread whose friend had ordered £800 worth of stuff and got it all. Its just luck of when and where they are dispatched from I think.

My order all arrived today. I didn’t go mad either - just the ysl stuff (perfume and makeup) and a few other items from my basket. Got a fantastic deal but I still spent quite a bit. My order wasn’t despatched until Thursday (by Royal Mail) so they had plenty of time to cancel it if they wanted to. Everything was very securely packed in bubble wrap and not damaged at all. Shocked at how many people have received broken items. It does make you wonder if it was intentional. But surely they would have been better to cancel the orders than send stuff out broken as I would have completely understood a cancellation but receiving broken goods would put me off ordering in future.
