You can use Tesco vouchers for goldsmiths £5 for £15 but you have to purchase in store. Worth a stock check or call ahead before you buy the vouchers though…

I bought the most fabulous leather pencil case for DS last year in Waterstones. It was £10 and looks even better a year later- as leather things tend to do. He uses it every day and really likes it- he uses to always think pencils cases were a bit lame! You could check there.

Alternatively I got a great fabric one for DS2 from Typo. Always worth a look- their stationery is fabulous and very, very teen/ adult friendly.

Hi All! I am the latest I have ever been to these amazing threads and feeling a bit anxious about the mountain ahead! I have a 9yr old who is looking for roller skates - does anyone have some that they can recommend as good for beginners, it is a bit of a minefield ! (quads rather than inline skates) Thanks!

A couple of threads back I was asking about SHEIN as I was waiting for my first delivery. It never turned up but i ended up speaking to them via the online chat and they refunded the whole thing immediately.

I was so pleased with their customer service I re ordered and that turned up in a week. I ordered lots of jewellery , christmas bits, fidget toys, and a watch. The jewellery, Christmas bits and fidget toys are fabulous the watch wasnt. Went onto live chat again and they immediately refunded the watch and didnt want it returning.

I am really happy with what came ,the costs are great and the customer service is the best I have dealt with.

So just a post to let you know really, I was worried about ordering with them but would recommend them and have already re ordered again.

Karlkennedyslovechild Junior ticket to ride is a great game. My dc love it. I think the youngest was probably 6 when we got it, so I'm sure your ds will be fine at 5. If he can play exploding kittens, which is actually quite a strategic game (and another one we love here) he'll be bound to cope with ticket to ride.

@Wetnosewarmheart I got my BIL a spacepen as it writes on every surface eg wood and including if it’s wet etc. As he works outdoors a lot in his job. Obviously depends on DDs apprenticeship but if she works with similar that might be an idea.
