DS7, who wanders round in shorts and hates wearing a coat, but wants extra covers at night, has been asking for a hot water bottle. As I don't like the idea of leaving him on his own with a quantity of near-boiling water, I was thinking about getting one of the ones you microwave like this one. Any recommendations/bargains that people have spotted? Might work for your gran @Scout2016.

Yes, that's how I've clipped them on the Fiorelli bag, thank you - did you do one on each side of the bag (e.g. front and back, so the strap sort of sits diagonally)? I'm rubbish at this sort of thing. I did have a good old scour of YouTube but couldn't find anything definitive.

Does anyone have the Aldi fake velvitisor. Was going to buy one but reviews don't appear great.

I have one and it was ok for a couple of months but has never got hot enough for me, I always end up having to add hot milk to bring the temperature up. I also find it's not blending the chocolate powder or milkshake powder that well now despite me cleaning it religiously after every use

@UnaOfStormhold My dc have the microwaveable hot water bottles. I think they are really good. One was a Sainsbury's bargain one year. I'm afraid I can't remember where the other was from. Both probably around the £10 mark from memory, and still going strong after a free years. They are shaped like animals and really cute!
