bigarse1 · 26/10/2021 21:02

@Minionbums thanks again. Apparently one of mine with autism so needs the same things just bigger sizes desperately needs replacement my little pony pants in age 9-10 and would love my little pony soft toys. Anyone who has any bargains on either of those would help out greatly!
Also any suggestions on gifts for my husband. I really have no idea. Currently going through chemo and feeling really ill. Unable to do any things he likes and I just can't think what to get. I think I'm getting caught up in the fact there is a chance it's his last Xmas and I need to make it perfect and that is stopping me getting started. Have already had to buy hand creams, blankets, bed trays, soft clothes, gloves, hats etc so can't get any of those

bigarse1 · 26/10/2021 21:05

@LemonCake79 thank you

thaegumathteth · 26/10/2021 21:05

@IggyAce

Not a bargain as such but a great idea and you get to support a small business. Mama Tigerlily is doing Christmas mystery boxes. You pick the value she will discuss the type of jewellery you like & colours she will then make something and wrap it for you to pop under the tree and you get a lovely surprise on Christmas morning. I thought it perfect for those that buy their own gifts.
I'd second this - the jewellery is lovely and the lady who runs it is fab too. I've had a few pieces from her for me and dd over the years.
Trudee · 26/10/2021 21:08

Thanks @Maharajah20, I've just ordered one. Weren't any in stock local to me but there was at my dad's local store Grin

WaitWhatOh · 26/10/2021 21:15

Thank you for my feel unique code Smile

Binglebang · 26/10/2021 21:24

@IggyAce - thank you so much for the mama tigerlily Xmas box post! I always umm and ahh about getting myself something ( single parent) but then never do but this would be perfect ( also as ex bought most of my jewellery so haven’t worn any really for the last few years) !

Gustavo1 · 26/10/2021 21:26

Just browsing online and accessorize have 30 off their “girls” range for half term. Lots of good stocking filler ideas.

Minionbums · 26/10/2021 21:37

@bigarse1 you don’t have to make it perfect, you have to make it memorable and comfortable and fun, surely?

How about a digital photo frame you can put some lovely memories onto, for when he’s feeling poorly?

Redwinestillfine · 26/10/2021 21:39

[[https://www.welovefrugi.com/ frugi]] have a sale on 70% off some Christmas stuff included

Puffalicious · 26/10/2021 21:43

Thanks so much to the original poster of the Buy a gift code. Just ordered an afternoon tea at home for 2 voucher. I'll activate it for my aunt's birthday near Xmas so it'll be delivered on the day. Excellent idea and £22 Inc postage. Bargain.

CatOfTheLand · 26/10/2021 21:45

@IDontDrinkTea

A very specific request… I’m looking for Gabby’s Dollhouse stuff - my daughter loves loves loves the show. But I can only find the figurines and in particular the gabby doll on American sites that cost a fortune to ship. Trying to avoid the big teddies if possible and hoping for the figures. Anyone got any ideas?!?
AliExpress has them and I saw something in Poundland a few weeks ago
TheBestWhootersInWhoville · 26/10/2021 21:59

Sylvanian Families Hillcrest home reduced from £70 to £35 in Smyths.

Urban decay Prince eyeliner and highlighter both reduced to £10 (from £22) today only for Boots £10 Tuesday. Still time to buy.

TuftyMarmoset · 26/10/2021 22:04

@bigarse1 not sure what your budget is but what about a switch? It’s something he can use in bed or at/waiting for appointments. You can also get mini consoles with retro games preloaded quite cheap (£20 or so). Or a puzzle book? Earphones and audible subscription?

Ashmonster · 26/10/2021 22:06

@mintgreenowl thank you. If it doesn't get resolved quickly then I'll do like you and contact the CEO. I may be DMing you for their contact details if you don't mind.

Homerenonovice · 26/10/2021 22:07

Don’t know if anyone is actually interested but cox and cox have 25% off your first order with the code FUPD25.

gvb8 · 26/10/2021 22:08

Thanks for the Scottish Fine Soaps tip. I ordered a different bundle from the one highlighted above.It's billed as the Halloween bundle but nothing spooky about it that I can see!

Halloween bundle

Plan to break it up for teacher gifts. Has 2 gift sets and you get a free tin of the milk bath powder for £24.97. They also do free delivery if you spend over £30 and 15% off if you subscribe to their newsletter (although this didn't work on the sale bundle I got)

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/10/2021 22:25

Those of you who got the clarins baubles from boots, any sign of your points yet? None on mine

woodwaj · 26/10/2021 22:27

Just a reminder to check amazon to see if you are eligible for the £5 off £15 promo. I was last week but kept getting an error message and today it applied no problem.

JanuaryEl5ieBill · 26/10/2021 22:27

@UrbanMage my Rocket&Rose order took a while (Dino tshirts ordered from an early thread) but were worth it. I think most of us had a wait but it did say when ordering, hopefully yours won't be too long now.

Getoutofbed25 · 26/10/2021 22:35

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight I collected my order or the Clarins baubles today and have just checked and I don’t have any if the points either Confused

Getoutofbed25 · 26/10/2021 22:40

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight I went through the online help to get this message, I think the points may show tomorrow hopefully

woodwaj · 26/10/2021 22:42

I read somewhere today that the boots offer of points was subject to a min £20 spend (sorry can't remember where.. fb somewhere (hduk/playpennies maybe) so you might not get the bonus points if you used the additional £2.50 off that was available 🤔

Getoutofbed25 · 26/10/2021 23:27

@woodwaj I hope that’s not the case as my order confirmation stated 1000 points are confirmed on collection of the order.

Autumnleaves4 · 27/10/2021 00:00

@bigarse1 is he well enough to do a jigsaw. There were some posts about Xmas jigsaws on an earlier thread. I think from Amazon. Does anyone else remember which jigsaws?
