Earlier this year I made a straightforward order, for around £50. My order didn’t go through due to a system error but they charged me twice. The money was literally taken from my account, it wasn’t just pending. I sent them statement screenshots to prove this, they responded saying they’d refund but never did. When I chased they then started denying they’d had my money again despite the statements and my bank also confirming they’d taken the payments. They said they hadn’t had an order from me, denied they had taken the money and wouldn’t refund. They then refused to communicate with me. I had to raise a case with my bank but things were moving very slowly and they advised me to continue to try to get the money from the company. I only got my money back because after weeks of them ignoring me I eventually emailed the CEO with proof of everything - they were great and looked into and sorted it out straight away - they confirmed it had been a system glitch and refunded straight away, along with a goodwill gesture. Would never order from them again though no matter how good the deals as the service I received from customer services was absolutely terrible.

sorry to ask, I lost all my tabs last night and can't find the post for somewhere that does days out - spas/afternoon tea etc and had a £15 off code..... any ideas?

Would really appreciate any ideas of bargains of very small items for an adult advent calendar (for DH age 30) i have quite a few things already but anything like chocolate minis, mini trivia, photo magnets or keyrings on offer would be much appreciated!

Tiny gingerbread houses in B&M for £1. I got a few for friends. They’re nicely wrapped in cellophane but definitely small enough for an advent calendar. As previously mentioned, lots of bits in home bargains too.

Anyone received their Rocket and Rose order yet? I ordered over a month ago, emailed them as I’d heard nothing and still nowt… Not best pleased tbh.

Somebody mentioned Scottish fine soaps on a previous thread and today I was in a restaurant which had the sea kelp one which was absolutely amazing so I’ve decided to order some but also stumbled across this Xmas bundle on their website which looks nice. Could be broken down into different gifts

I’m hoping someone can recommend to me a good maze cube type thing that I can put some money into for my older dc. (Don’t really need to much nowadays but thought a quiz / maze cube thing would make it fun at least!

I’d really hope they learnt a lesson and provided extra training for customer services after my case; that was part of the reason I went higher up, not only because I wanted my money back, but because I wanted them to feed back what had happened and tell customer services how they should have responded. I still feel angry thinking about it; it caused me weeks of stress, not to mention all the time spent on phone calls and emails. So hopefully it will be resolved much more quickly and easily for you.

@Poppiesway1 I've seen these puzzle boxes advertised on the Not on Amazon group on Facebook and through they looked good

@UrbanMage, no, I’ve not had mine, but last year, they took around 6 weeks and were worth the wait so I’m not worrying just yet.

You're welcome! My DS is Vinyl mad and you're right, it's so over-priced. I got a few with a decent, wee bit off. Glad I was of help and she enjoys them.

Tbh I always go to the ceo email straight away with companies as they always resolve stuff straight away and usually add a goodwill gesture haha!

I've never had any issues with WH Smith, fingers crossed everyone's stuff arrives okay.

I couldn't see if anyone answered but I ordered the tonie one yesterday and they only had green left so may well have sold out now
