Anyone else run into this disadvantage of ordering things so early for Christmas? This morning I have had 2 emails asking me to review products (Avon samples and Justmylook reindeer Xmas cracker bath bombs). Amazon do this too and I wish there was an option to say "Bought as a present so ask me later!" A small annoyance in the big acheme of things I know

Left my drop box £10 gins in basket overnight as I couldn’t decide and woke to an email saying here’s extra 5% off with code GO5. Looks generic to me.

The gin I had was all sold out (you lot???) but they had 2 other gins at that price so I went for it. Got 4 people sorted so thanks for that.

Everythings £5 have got some great pj sets, underwear daywear for teens

Just ordered a gel shiatsu massage cushion that was on my list to get reduced from £99.99 to £69.99.

There were other products on the website, not just massage.

A local book company is selling Roald Dahl books for £2 each this weekend. The shipping is courier so £4.95 but worth it if you buy a few books (or free over £50). Loads of other books at a good price on there too.

@daisy829 check the individual products for BBE dates. I've got the £20 box and all bar one in there have a best before date either on the box or printed on the jar somewhere. They range from August 2022 to march 2024.

I just went to Home Bargains to see if they had the nutcracker tins. They didn't (only the gingerbread man ones), but did have these bigger ones for 79p each, which are cute.

@Sisisimone maybe try contacting customer service? My friend had heard nothing and after eventually getting through to them it was discovered they were in the warehouse and had been overlooked. Arrived yesterday. Might be worth a try. They do seem to be honouring purchases people have made.🤞

Last I heard was an email from Hermes saying there was a delay but I've just come home and found it on the doorstep. Really pleased with it

There was a leaflet in the box for 20% off a purchase when using the H&B app - use code WELCOME20.

They have all of the Christmas tins in the Durham home bargains if anyone’s in the north east and looking for them. If not I’ll be going again the week after next and can post on if anyone needs some.

Tesco are selling litre bottles of Jack Daniels and JD honey for £20 instead of £32 with clubcard.
I picked up a honey and may nip back for a normal JD. Handy for Christmas gifts.

JD apple is also for £20 for a litre, sadly not the JD Fire.

@daisy829 might she like a couple of canvasses and some charcoals or paints to go with them? My dd is 10 and we're trying to bulk out the expensive stuff too so she's getting a huge one with associated stuff. I'm also putting together a baking hamper for her, so far I've got a few reduced baking kits and lots of different coloured fondant icing but will add as I go along.

Me too. I get DH underwear every single year when it's 20% off. Surely it's overdue?! (I've had no proper Sparks offers recently either, as a by the by.)

Went to M&S today, agree that the light up gin looks pretty cheap this year, didn't get any. They didn't have the colon Colin hot chocolate stirrers, Percy pig coins, or light up tins. They said next Tuesday/Wednesday.

I did however get to B&M and got all 5 initials in both the stockings and sacks. The lady on the tills said I was very lucky, and that they will be gone by the end of the day. She said some people are buying trolleyfulls to put on eBay like last year, so stores may introduce a limit per customer very soon. She also said, they are one of the first things that go on the shop floor for Christmas, they get 4 or 5 deliveries starting around now...and then that's it! Why they don't produce enough for the demand is beyond me. Maybe they like the hype surrounding it and knowing people will keep going in to search and inevitably buy something else whilst there.

Just thought anyone keen to get them might like the heads up xx
