Poor deprived DD aged 3 asked for Juice on Christmas Eve. Queue me risking to the shop to buy a carton of juice and wrapping it when she’s gone to bed.

It was totally worth it, her face in the morning was pure happiness “Santa brought me juice!”.

So what’s the strangest or simplest thing that your DC have asked for?

A pair of red glittery light up wellies. Aged 3. She had seen them in the hypermarket on holiday in France and luckily mentioned it in the drive back to the ferry.

Cue a quick pit stop there "for snacks" Wink and Santa's present to her was secured.

Christmas morning she put them on and wore them all day. Grin

Yesterday- ‘a spatula for nair cream’ actually added to Christmas list by dd (12 but has additional needs) that has to be a winner!

A merman soft toy is this year's request. Impossible unless I get one specially made 😖😫

My 3 yo wanted a seagull.

I found a stuffed toy seagull which is still one of her faves to this day.

RestingStitchFace · 29/10/2021 19:09

Hetty Hoover. A real one.

(He's been told categorically that our existing hoover works fine and we're not getting a new one. He's not interested in actually hoovering, he just wants her as a friend to play with. 😂

(Found a plush Hetty on EBay and am hoping that will suffice.)

Lynne1Cat · 29/10/2021 19:14

One of my Granddaughters, last year, asked for some plastic ants. I got them from Amazon (where else)

FelicityBeedle · 29/10/2021 20:10

@RestingStitchFace
What about a Hetty Hoover desk vacuum? Bit more interactive
