If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here to use for if you’re posting your personal referral link to others.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I love this thread! Dobbies play house on its way, plus some soaps, a paddling pool, and and a 'traffic ball'. Anyone who missed out on the camping stove set, it's back in stock now.

Argos have 2 for £30 on a variety of toys including some Lego sets. Looked a good deal as a couple of them are normally £25 each.

@PinkDaydreams

Can anyone recommend good quality animals please?! I’ve heard of schleich (or however you spell it) but wondering if there are other brands to look for please? I’m looking for a bundle of sea creatures, in particular crab, turtle, jellyfish, octopus for my son. I’ve seen tubs in home bargains but the quality looks a bit naff sadly
How about some wooden ones. Le Toy Van stacking sea creatures

Boots have a £10 beauty box (supposed to be worth £40) which may make a good teen stocking filler Boots beauty box

That box is great, however it is the same one they had last year. My local Boots were still selling them in June, so I don't know if they are new stock, or the leftover boxes from last Christmas.
cymrumam · 06/09/2021 11:03

@mumonthehill thankyou just purchased as the one I bought was at least £100 cheaper than elsewhere and seemed to have good reviews on other sites

[quote SuddenlySusan]I look forward to these threads each year since I found them around four years ago. I love the chat, feel like I’ve found my people too!

I’ve not posted many bargains this year, if any, but there doesn’t seem to be that many about that others haven’t already shared.

I’m usually super organised, but this year I want to be done as soon as possible. We are also not going too much on presents as the kids get too much anyway - plus they’re only just playing with that they got last year.

I’ve bought tickets for the theatre, days out and will be buying a zoo season ticket to finish them off, but usually reductions on Black Friday for these.

I bought these last year, or maybe the year before, in the sale and the quality is fab!

**Spider kids slippers Joules - They have limited sizes, but I’ve bought two more pairs for my kids for either this year or next, depending on how their feet grow!

Those slippers have free delivery via eBay! If you Google 'Joules eBay spider slippers you'll get to them.

StarfishSleeper · 06/09/2021 11:25

Apologies for daft question but the joules show sizes s, m, l are they for kids? ... I don't get the sizing! Will they fit a 2 year old or an 8 year old?

Some of the Hotel Chocolat Christmas range is out

If you use the code 'SUMMER9' you get 9% off and 'FREEDEL30' gets you free delivery if you spend over £30

The codes stack too.

I'm just waiting for an email back from customer service to see what the expiry dates are on the bits I want to buy.

Notlongnow1 · 06/09/2021 11:35

@suddenlysusan thank you. Link led me to some slipper socks I'm both my kids sizes. 'Pocket' gives free delivery.

@starfishsleeper you can find details on sizing at bottom of page but xs said 8-9, so 10-11, m 12-13, l 1-2, xl 3-4 for the kids slippers

H&B update from here, 2 orders placed on Thursday night, one for the premium boxes and one for the £10 boxes, premium have been delivered today, £10 boxes not yet despatched, make of that what you will.

Restlessinthenorth · 06/09/2021 12:13

I was going to get a few of the boots beauty boxes, but the reviews say the vouchers in them have already expired. I would be worried it looked like I was regifting!

RainbowPhilosophy · 06/09/2021 12:16

@Restlessinthenorth you could always take the contents out and use as separate stocking fillers, or rebox without the vouchers?

flumposie · 06/09/2021 12:45

I collected my H & B £10 boxes from my local store yesterday ( were available on Saturday) , maybe home delivery has taken a back seat for some reason.

Has anybody seen any lovely and not overly pricey (looking at your £199 beauty and the beast one) toy tea trolley for a 3 year old please.

I've seen the Disney princess and frozen smoby ones on amazon but am not overly taken with it

PeachTea1 · 06/09/2021 13:17

Thanks @5Minions2CallMyOwn - I've also ordered the Snaffling Pig advent calendar and used your code. No clue where I'm going to store it for 3 months but at least it's sorted!

PeachTea1 · 06/09/2021 13:23

Tinysnickers · 06/09/2021 13:24
