@Waveafterwaveslowlydrifting can't help with a floor gaming chair sorry.

However for anyone looking for a desk gaming chair I bought these last year:

www.amazon.co.uk/GTFORCE-Roadster-Adjustable-Support-Trimmings/dp/B01M3Z88XF/ref=mp_s_a_1_13?dchild=1&keywords=GTI+Racer+Roadster+sport&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1630490848&sr=8-13

Would highly recommend, the dc love them and they're really well made, still perfect condition and used daily. Plus they have £25 OFF at the minute.

I missed the offers last year, I held out till November and IME the price of gaming chairs go up not down the closer we get. So would definitely recommend getting sooner rather than later.

My local b&m are starting to put out Xmas stuff - usual harry potter, friends, xbox and playstation themes, family games and alphabet purses/bags/hairbrushes etc.

I picked up a tripod and light for phone (£7) and a kraken rum and Mason jar set (£6).

Some decent wrapping paper was being put out as well including 5m extra wide kids wrapping paper.

Also therange has loads of stationery stocking fillers like crash bandicoot, super mario, call of duty, friends, disney princess, Harry potter etc.

Thisisbatshit · 01/09/2021 11:15

Just bought some Dr Zigs bubbles for DN- they aren't really bargainous, but I have given as a gift a few times and they go down really well. They are giant bubbles which are great for mixed age groups of children (even I enjoy playing!). The set I bought has bubble concentrate in a Christmas bauble and a wand for £15.95. Bubble concentrate lasts a while and they can reuse the wand next time.

Got them from babipur (I was buying other things- free delivery over £40). Code buddy takes off 10% bubbles here

As an aside- the kids face masks by piccalilly fit my children well and are now on sale there for £3.50 if anyone still needs them for the school bus etc. Also their paper tape (like masking tape but either pictures on- rainbows or foxes etc) is REALLY popular with my children who make all kinds of crafty things with it. A lovely stocking filler. Again not a huge bargain at almost £4 but when at the rate my children use it it lasts forever.

Has anyone seen any deals on playmobil? I missed the 25% off offer and DS is suddenly very into it.

Clementine8 · 01/09/2021 12:11

I'm a bit late to the party this year, you are already on thread4!

Thanks for who ever posted the house of fraser bags, i've managed to tick 4 people off my list in one go!

What's the best way to do photo gifts? I want to do a few photobooks and maybe a mug. anyone got any recommendations on who to use to?

PinkDaydreams · 01/09/2021 12:16

The Playmobil site has 3 for 2 on some items. Unfortunately everything I want isn't in the offer!
PoirotAndHisMoustache · 01/09/2021 12:53

@Twilightstarbright i have seen Brand Alley have some Playmobil on sale today

IggyAce · 01/09/2021 13:00

@Coronado2 my ds gaming headset is from Smyths, Turtle Bay (I think) it was around £20.

Restlessinthenorth · 01/09/2021 13:17

Oooo wonder if the fenty lipsticks come in a box or anything? Might be a nice gift for my niece

UrbanMage · 01/09/2021 13:59

My present from me to me is arriving today… A new laminator!

Sideorderofchips · 01/09/2021 14:05

I usually use snap fish for photo presents

Artdecolover · 01/09/2021 14:07

Hello 👋
My ds2 (who will be 13 by xmas) is really into anime like my hero acadamia and my life as a slime - I've had stuff from etsy but wondered if there were any posters with ideas/suggestions for merch?
He has a switch and gaming PC
He likes drawing and writing stories

Thank you to the John Lewis jellycat recommendation!! It came today, what an absolute bargain!

MadeForThis · 01/09/2021 14:50

Thinking of more turtle doves as presents. Any better offers than 10% for joining their mailing list?

furstivetreats · 01/09/2021 14:58

My tall but slim (150cm) niece would like a onesie. Any suggestions on where to get one from? Not many options out there, which I appreciate might just be that it's too early but it's actually for her birthday, not Christmas so I need to get one pretty much now!

On a related note, what do I search for a sort of all in one nightwear type item? Onesies seem to cover the zip up loose fitting fleecy type option but I can't manage to find anything that's a nightwear jumpsuit. I think I'm having a total brain fart.

superstar84 · 01/09/2021 15:09

Asda is good for onesies or H&M (search all in one on H&M not onesie)

PattyPan · 01/09/2021 15:15

Argos have quite a lot of character single bedding sets (Pikachu, Frozen, LOL, Trolls, baby shark) in their home sale for £11.25, and Bing/Peppa/PJ Masks toddler bedding for £10.50.

@furstivetreats have you looked in Primark? I think they might sell those. If you get her a small adult size it might fit.

Fetchthevet · 01/09/2021 15:48

Ooh I love laminating! Might ask for one for Christmas Smile
BarbiesWorld · 01/09/2021 15:49

Nothing to add yet, just place marking because I sat down when DS napped and wrote up my to buy lists.

It's the stocking fillers I always get stuck on qnd this year is our first without STBXH so any suggestions for my own stocking would be appreciated.

Scout2016 · 01/09/2021 16:08

Someone a thread or more back mentioned a bargin bundle playmobil site. It looked a bit dodge, like the photos of piled up stock were taken by my gran in her living room (no offence to gran but photography is not her forte). And very cheap. May have had a woman's name in the site title. Can anyone remember what the site is please?

My bargin of the day so far is neon tie dye kits from in store in Aldi for £4 each. I have used their kits before with success so hope these are as good. Other colours available. They also have some other craft sets and toys, books including Jacqueline Wilson, lego sets and jigsaws, some are reduced. Box of 3 Harry P / minions / barbie jigsaws for £2. I do find Aldi annoying though that offers vary from branch to branch so sorry if you have no luck.

Jellybum2019 · 01/09/2021 16:42

I got these vehicles from my local tesco today for £2 each in the sale - might be worth a look for any tractor/digger mad little ones!
