Candle recommendation from me. I have bought a load of jo malone & neom in recent years but the scent throw is a bit poor. Dh recently lit a Luma candle I'd bought for his bday & it's amazingly. 30% off atm but a lot out of stock. The wax melts are great too.

Late to the party but we love Skyjo! Great for our 10 year old, and also the 4 year old joins in as she understands the concept that lower numbers are better so she has a go!

I went to my local home bargains and they're slowly putting out the Christmas stock. The Christmas eve hampers weren't out in my branch but I'll check next week. Makes a nice substantial gift instead of a selection box.

Skyjo is on Amazon lightning deals atm for £11.85 might give it a shot after the recommendations above!

@HoHoLow we have previously bought fake lego sets of dinosaurs from eBay, like this one:
dinosaurs and although clearly not actual lego they have provided hours of fun! And used a lot with the one actual set of jurassic world lego we have. Great for advent calendars too...

Just bought 5 pairs of first Walker toddler shoes from George Asda in varying sizes. That should go DS for a while. He will be 1.5 at Christmas so some of his "gifts" will be practical 🙈

It's in store & online. The half price sale in store clothes wise is always rubbish for boys (plenty for girls) with nothing on the sales racks. But the shoes are just on the normal display with loads reduced.

I've been notified that my H&B order [One £10 beauty box] has been dispatched and will be delivered by 9th. More crucially there is a note attached to the tracking info saying that there are currently issues with the Amazon shipping courier service that H&B are using and apologising for any inconvenience this may cause. [Hope this reassures people who are worrying about not receiving their beauty boxes yet.]

Had to laugh as I was just reading this post when there was a knock at the door and it was my £10 beauty boxes! So they got here ok and will hopefully soon be with anyone still waiting.

Oh thank you - they look brilliant!! Are they decent quality in terms of safety etc? I’ve never bought eBay before (sorry if I sound daft!!)

That’s really all he wants the dinosaurs as has plenty of plain Lego and like you one JW set but it’s just the dinosaur he plays with and he’d love more but the JW sets are so expensive for the amount of Lego you get (compared to day Lego city sets etc).

Boots have some no7 foundation and concealer bundles for £10 today in limited shades

@Trumpton how did it arrive by royal mail or delivery service? I had a message last week as there was a back log but not heard anything since.

Has anyone got a teen boy (14ish) who can offer me an opinion on the personalised football?
Trying to decide whether it would be an amazing and inspired or lame and totally cringeworthy gift, for the 14 son of a friend..... boy in question is super into football, plays for county etc but is also very image aware, only wears the 'right' brands etc! Any thoughts appreciated thank you
