If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Pottery Barn Kids have a sale on, the site is being a bit glitchy for me, but I would totally buy these cute llamas if I had someone to give them to! They look so soft

Set of llama plushes reduced to £19.95, EXTRA15OFF gives 15% of all clearance

Another recommendation for dobble here, my 9yo loves it along with all the grown ups. My dad was watching a TV show about life on a submarine and all the submariners were playing dobble!

BooksChocolateAndSleep · 05/09/2021 22:51

My 9 year old girl is obsessed with pirates and Pirates of the Caribbean so if anyone sees anything decent please let me know!

Daisy829 · 05/09/2021 22:54

I’ve never heard of imperial candles before. They look ace! Has anyone got any feedback on the actual jewellery? Adding one to my list…..

Doghairismyglitter · 05/09/2021 23:03

Apologies if already mentioned, but the Disney Book Advent Calendar is half price to £9.99 on Amazon pre order. I know it’s on offer at The Works too, but went for Amazon as free delivery with Prime

Loving this thread, my first time and have bought lots of Lego including Harry Potter, cinnamon buns, jigsaws, picked up a voucher code and still considering lavender pillows and some ear-rings. Saved a ton and got started early, a huge thank you to everyone.

@dementedma, can you link the hot chocolate you mentioned I can’t find that one.

Memo7 · 05/09/2021 23:23

Lego Minecraft The Panda Nursery currently has a £4.01 coupon taking it from £19.97 to £15.96 on Amazon.

Summerbreeze4 · 05/09/2021 23:28

Oh and the sundae glasses, I must come off this thread soon, spending too much!

I was in Dobbie’s yesterday and bought some lovely small Crystal wind chimes for presents £1 reduced from £8. I can’t see them on their web site but they had lots if you have a local store.

CasparBloomberg · 05/09/2021 23:29

@ PinkDaydreams I don’t suppose you live near the coast. Sealife centre shops used to sell tubes filled with model sealife animals including more unusual things. I don’t know if they still sell them (assume they would) and I don’t know if you have to pay entry to use the shop either.

rainingcats · 05/09/2021 23:35

I love the chat - it would feel a bit clinical with just links to bargains.

Just been browsing Dunelm for bedding and spotted they have some reed diffusers in the sale. Most are half price around the £5 mark. They also have these Disney storage ottomans for £10 which are great quality and would be a good gift for anybody who needed to bulk up a present pile (and have some storage for the new toys) not saying they are reduced but I bought one for £20 a few months ago! www.dunelm.com/product/disney-princess-collapsible-ottoman-1000151252

Shimmerandsparkles · 05/09/2021 23:46

Sorry everyone for the chat - I meant to post it in the other thread. Please ignore.

katesbushh · 05/09/2021 23:54

IWOOT has the 5 for £20 back
They're great for stocking fillers.

I have popped a referral in the referrals link for 20% off first order too.

TeresaMayspants · 05/09/2021 23:59

Can anyone recommend good quality decently priced Disney princess dresses? Can’t quite justify the Disney shop prices but on the other hand worried the cheapy ones on eBay might fall to bits!

duckduckswan · 06/09/2021 00:33

@cymrumam we got our paddle boards from decathlon. No experts but hubby likes to do his research before he buys and these have been great for 3 years now. Go by the weight of the paddle boarder. Don’t forget you need a pump (ideally electric)/paddle/bouyancy aid ‘wetsuit outlet’ often has some good price reductions on quality stuff

@Twilightstarbright
A previous poster mentioned ls-pw.co.uk/ for Playmobil not bought from their myself but prices look fab

SandwichDistraction · 06/09/2021 01:27

@TeresaMayspants We always get Disney Princess dresses from Sainsburys. My daughter has an Anna one that she wears pretty much every day and it is still going pretty strong. Have a look on the Tu website, they have cheaper ones and more premium ones.

Duckyneedsaclean · 06/09/2021 02:17

@TeresaMayspants I'd recommend the Sainsbury's ones too. If you wait they may have a 25% off week, or you can use nectar points in the double up event (I think late October/early November)

Mumto3thatsme · 06/09/2021 06:11

@PinkDaydreams

Can anyone recommend good quality animals please?! I’ve heard of schleich (or however you spell it) but wondering if there are other brands to look for please? I’m looking for a bundle of sea creatures, in particular crab, turtle, jellyfish, octopus for my son. I’ve seen tubs in home bargains but the quality looks a bit naff sadly
Recommend Lanka Kade, they’re wooden and really lovely. More expensive is Holtziger, the quality and detail is stunning, but more pricey. Take a look at Beaubaba, a family run ethical company based in Wales, I think you’ll find what you’re looking for
Thegirlhasnoname · 06/09/2021 06:49

@TeresaMayspants we recently got a bundle of 7 Disney princess costumes from an eBay seller for £15 and all in good nick, some still with tags on. Might be worth having a look at auctions on there?

PinkDaydreams · 06/09/2021 06:56

Thank you so much for all of the sea creature suggestions! I'll have a nosey through them. He's got a few Lanka kade farm animals but I wanted something suitable to go in the bath.

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 06/09/2021 07:10

@TeresaMayspants I second argos for dress up clothes. I managed to get my boys some marvel and pirate ones for about £4 last year, they were in the sale plus included in the 25% week events they have. I squirelled them away for this year. Will still be rolling the sleeves up for my youngest but he won't mind and they will get used over and over 😁

Just an FYI to everyone to look out for Halloween costumes after the event if you are a hoarder like me and store bits sometimes a year in advance... I brought a whole Dracula Halloween costume including Cape, mask etc for my eldest from sainsbury's for 50p, second week of Nov. Worth a rummage sometimes

Jfw82 · 06/09/2021 07:10

@TeresaMayspants I'd also recommend looking at Matalan as have had good princess dresses from there - also if you sign up for a reward card you get card holder discount offers so when o bought for last Christmas I got 20% off. (For those with superhero fans they are also good for superhero costumes)

I've bought disney shop ones on ebay before. Dds never cared! Or sainsburys are good quality.

And if you want full frothy princess dress tkmaxx do beautiful ones and often are similar to the disney princess. My dd had a blue ice princess one (elsa) and a rapunzel style one. They are hooped and some come with fur trimmed capes.

Memo7 · 06/09/2021 07:26

@TeresaMayspants Tesco also sell official Disney princess dressing up outfits. And if you wait for a clothing 20% off offer or have any clubcard vouchers even better 😊

Scout2016 · 06/09/2021 07:29

@TeresaMayspants another vote for Sainsburys. Don't think any can go in the washing machine but ours is wearing well.
