Wanting recommendations on bath bombs. I had great recommendations from this thread before but need something a bit more for my 3 and 4yo - expectations set high after they were bought some ones that changed the water colour! Looking for a couple for stocking fillers at least...

Demented, John Lewis and Fenwicks have loads of picture only advent calendars

Y y for anyone wanting picture advent calendars, John Lewis and National Trust shops have the best selections. Woodmansterne, Alison Gardiner, Caspari and Ling all do nice ones usually.

This year I have a lovely one from the National Trust already stashed in the cupboard! Last year was the first time DD was allowed a chocolate one, but the picture ones are the tradition as far as I’m concerned so any chocolate ones are a mere sideshow!

I always also send the niblings an advent calendar card, and find eBay the best for getting hold of nice ones - often German ones which are hard to find over here.

@dementedma I like the traditional ones and always get one as well as something more substantial for the teens. I’ve got the traditional ones in local garden centre or Amazon do them as well xx

Ooh yes they are very cute! - keeps the tradition up to have a mini one and adults love getting them in the post too. (You do have to overlook the fact of paying £4-ish for essentially a couple of bits of card glued together, but well it’s Christmas )

DH & I are considering doing the same. We went a bit crazy with the calendars last year, took us ages to open them all every morning 😂 got book ones for the DC (Peppa Pig & Julia Donaldson)

A few people have mentioned bluey recently. There were small teddies in b&m today for a tenner

Sadly these are branding themselves as National Geographic but a little digging shows that they have stolen the logo. The reviews are terrible and photos of what people have actually received show that it’s a scam. I would avoid
