Hi,
Due to Brexit things are a bit trickier with ordering online from UK. Not like the good old days!
Thought it a good idea to start one so we don't clog up the other thread with what can and can't be delivered to ROI and what deals we can avail of.
If anyone has any deals they spot in ROI either.

Currently adidas have 35% off if you have Revolut. I ordered bits and it worked perfectly. Free delivery also which also makes me happy!

@whatwillicallmyself I don’t know. I’ve never actually ordered from them online before. If you do find out could you update?

elizabethdraper · 02/09/2021 14:43

I love this shop for local and eco friendly gifts

Carrie76 · 02/09/2021 17:39

My local Tesco has 25% off a good few lego sets, friends, technic etc

whatwillicallmyself · 02/09/2021 19:04

@thelegohooverer I found the details, no you cant return online orders in store you have to email them to arrange a return, and due to current climate blankets cant be returned at all, it was the weighted blanket I was interested in so I will have to try and get to a store.

whatwillicallmyself · 02/09/2021 19:06

@Carrie76 did you notice if tesco had any lego jurrasic world sets reduced ?

B84101 · 02/09/2021 22:07

Asda George have some of the children's Christmas pj's online from today. Here is an example. You have to pay for shipping

Going to look today, thank you!

Do Dunnes have the warm fluffy pyjamas back in for ladies yet? With it getting colder and darker, I really want some. Was in Tesco yesterday and they were getting winter pyjamas in for kids, but not adults.

Notstandinguptoday · 03/09/2021 07:21

@whatwillicallmyself that’s not great. Thanks for the info though.

ShoppingBasket · 03/09/2021 10:48

Yes, fluffy pj's back in Dunnes. Saw them a few days ago. Yipppeeee. I think pennys have them also.

Asos have 20% off if you download app and code GOASOS.

I saw in my local Lidl a kind of tik tok/instagrammer set for children. Seems you can make videos and has a green screen for 25e. I'm not sure how good it is or if it is any use as DS is not into tiktok dances Grin
Aldi also have some knitting/crocheting make and do sets coming in for kids. They look v cute.

Great thank you Smile I'll head into Dunnes after work to try and get some.

Coffeeanddarkchoc · 03/09/2021 20:32

I'm sitting here in my fluffly pyjamas, thanks @ShoppingBasket. Got them for €10!

ShoppingBasket · 03/09/2021 22:35

@Coffeeanddarkchoc jealous! Currently on night shift, would love to be in pyjamas. Last year they had fluffy top in a hoody style, it had little ears on it. They were only about 12 euro. It was my best buy, I still live in it. So warm. Hopefully they get them again this year, I will be buying 2!

15% off boohoo including sale item through revolut.

Just found this thread, soooo happy Grin

Coffeeanddarkchoc · 04/09/2021 16:10

I think I had one of those too @ShoppingBasket, I must see if I can find it!

Off the topic of christmas and bargains but I'm looking for some kind of a nice black sandal/shoe that I can wear to a wedding on Wednesday. Would anyone have any idea where I'd find some now? My local shops only have autumn/winter wear now. Will probably have to go to the city tomorrow.

ShoppingBasket · 04/09/2021 16:18

@Coffeeanddarkchoc try next, they are usually v quick delivery. If you order online today before 5pm u might even have it by mon/tues! I've always found them really quick.

If anyone is shopping for a Lego fan and trying to avoid yet more Lego, we have got tons of enjoyment out of the big Lego books.
Book station has Awesome Ideas for €7.99 and The Lego Ideas Book for €9.99
I think you can get a discount by signing up to the mailing list too.

@whatwillicallmyself that’s annoying. I can’t imagine it would be cheap to post a weighted blanket back. Ds loved his though and slept soundly under it for the last couple of nights despite stressing about secondary school.

Has anyone used AnPost’s address pal for deliveries from UK?

whatwillicallmyself · 05/09/2021 00:45

@thelegohooverer yes thats what I was thinking it would be expensive to return if any problems, I went to our local store but they didnt have the 3kg ones, the manager was lovely and said if I needed to change something bought online as long as they stock it and you have receipt he would be able to do return but as they dont have the smallest one in stock he wouldnt be able to put it through his tills.

With regards to an post address pal no I havent used them but would love to know if anyone else has ? I am really missing dpd parcel wizard now.

Doza · 05/09/2021 08:03

Thank you for this thread!
I posted this on the other one: 5 for £20 on I Want one of Those, got travel straws & Lego key holders for stocking. £2.99 delivery but worth it.
www.iwantoneofthose.com/offers/5-for-20.list
I also picked up the €20 fleece hoodie things in Dunnes for the girls, seem nice and thick. The girls don't do patterns or colours so just right for them Smile
