Hi,
Due to Brexit things are a bit trickier with ordering online from UK. Not like the good old days!
Thought it a good idea to start one so we don't clog up the other thread with what can and can't be delivered to ROI and what deals we can avail of.
If anyone has any deals they spot in ROI either.

Currently adidas have 35% off if you have Revolut. I ordered bits and it worked perfectly. Free delivery also which also makes me happy!

@Dancingonmoonlight

Order from Amazon.DE instead of Amazon UK.

I have done so myself and it worked out great.

Many clothing companies have an EU website. My browser seems to select the UK by default but a quick google with EU at the end will bring you to their site. Price in euro, free shipping over a certain amount and no additional tax and much faster than ordering from the UK. I have bought from Boden and Anthropologie recently and its been far easier to use the EU sites.

I tend to switch back and forth between the two, sometimes it works out cheaper on the U.K. site.

PhotoBox have a good sale on and you can buy credit for making calendars etc

I spotted these bath trays in Aldi for €12.99

Homestore and more have some office chairs in their "when they're gone, they're gone" but some have Gaming chair looks about them. Could be good present for gamers.

Lidl have weighted blankets coming in next week for 40euro. They look really cosy.

Homestore & more currently have quite a few stationery bits on 4 for €5. I picked up some nice notebooks and erasers, kawaii style sticky page markers, gel pens, pastel highlighters and a little wheelie bin desk tidy. They also have key rings and bag charms etc. Cute and useful little stocking fillers or possibly for anyone doing home made advent calendars.

Carrie76 · 13/09/2021 16:37

Easons have the really useful mugs that were posted on the main bargain thread. They’re €9.99 and are on offer 3 for 2 with some other nice ones

Tesco in Dundrum had Freddo selection boxes, 3 for €5. They feel very light even though I bought 15!!

whatwillicallmyself · 14/09/2021 12:23

Hi Guys anyone know where you can get nice wooden christmas eve boxes that wont break the bank ?

thelegohooverer · 14/09/2021 14:34

Mr Price has some shark tail blankets (€7.99) and also those cooling towels (€2.50 I think) that have been popular on the other thread.

I really like those mugs @Carrie76 It’s annoying when you don’t have the right recipients for the gifts you want to buy 😂

@whatwillicallmyself do they have to be wooden? There are usually lots of cardboard ones closer to Christmas , some really nice quality.

ShoppingBasket · 14/09/2021 16:47

I think Mr.price had wooden Xmas eve boxes last year for maybe 10 euro. I remember eyeing them up and then giving my head a wobble as I have a tween.
Mmm selection boxes, can't wait for chocolate Santa's, they must be due in soon.

whatwillicallmyself · 14/09/2021 18:09

Oh I will keep my eye out in Mr Price for the christmas eve boxes, I was hoping for wooden ones as they already have a nice cardboard one they have had for a few years but it is beginning to get a bit tatty so thought I would replace them with wooden ones.

thelegohooverer · 15/09/2021 06:36

@whatwillicallmyself if you’re near a TKMaxx it’s the sort of thing they might have, but their stock is so random you have to keep checking.

I have to put my hands over my eyes for all this dangerous selection box talk. Chocolate is never a bargain in my house - buy early, buy thrice!

whatwillicallmyself · 15/09/2021 10:00

@thelegohooverer I never thought of tkmaxx, I am the same with chocolate, once its in the house I cant get it off my mindGrin

LookItsMeAgain · 15/09/2021 11:30

Anyone looking for Weighted Blankets (think they are going to be the thing to get this year) the ones that are for sale in onlinehomeshop.com are also available in Mr Price. The most expensive one I think is €50 there for the 8kg weight.

thelegohooverer · 16/09/2021 14:38

The Kilkenny shop has €15 off a €75 spend with the code €15OFF75

Linenbundle.ie have 30% off with code BUNDLE30. I can’t vouch for them as I ended up buying bedding elsewhere but they were recommended by someone on here

Louis Copeland has a sale on too at the moment.

thelegohooverer · 16/09/2021 15:59

Has anyone seen the Lego Avenger Advent calendars? Smyths have them in stock in a few far flung (from me) places but not available for home delivery. Lego store are back in stock but an eye watering €11.95 delivery.

ShoppingBasket · 16/09/2021 16:15

@thelegohooverer Littlewoods have them.

Smyths are saying they are going to have stock issues this year. Dunno whether to believe it or is it all hype.

Thanks @ShoppingBasket

thelegohooverer · 18/09/2021 00:17

I just used addresspal for a uk purchase and it’s been reassuringly straightforward. I was worried that the customs value would be too high as I bought something with a hefty discount off the rrp but they just requested me to send a copy of the invoice and worked off that.

The only issue was getting stung for Uk taxes as well as Irish ones and I only realised afterwards that I’d have been better to order through Amazon for that reason. It hadn’t occurred to me to check but a lot of companies sell through Amazon as well as their own websites. So if you’re buying something that won’t deliver to RoI, it might be worth checking if Amazon do.

thelegohooverer · 18/09/2021 08:17

I was thinking about getting dd a baking subscription box. Has anyone come across any Irish company doing this?

B84101 · 18/09/2021 08:46

Update- I recieved my works order and I didn't have to pay anything extra for import fees Smile
