Hi,
Due to Brexit things are a bit trickier with ordering online from UK. Not like the good old days!
Thought it a good idea to start one so we don't clog up the other thread with what can and can't be delivered to ROI and what deals we can avail of.
If anyone has any deals they spot in ROI either.

Currently adidas have 35% off if you have Revolut. I ordered bits and it worked perfectly. Free delivery also which also makes me happy!

Another website, its not duty free unless you are ordering 150 euro worth of items, however I did order some lovely bites lately and duty was calculated in the cost and it wasn't overall expensive. Some lovely copy oodies for adults and children.

Seen a lot of Harry Potter items in aldi in the last two weeks, if any children are into Harry Potter, some lovely sets, my own daughter was eyeing them up, im not sure if they are still there now.

@missyt84 thanks for code, were they OK delivery wise?

@B84101 you're on fire! Keep them coming.

@HoldMeCloserTonyDanza what is spiced beef anyway? Throw us your recipe. I heard it mentioned on a podcast last week.

Lifestyle sports have an extra 15% off sale prices and free delivery. Just bought adidas tracksuit bottoms for €30 from €55 and adidas runners from €65 to €25! Mostly on small sizes but might be lucky.

Up to 50% off photo products, calenders etc

Thanks @B84101 for this site. I’ve ordered three of the hooded blankets Grin!

@ShoppingBasket I think you were asking about the Dunnes ones? While I haven’t actually seen the real Oodies to compare them with, I had a look at the Dunnes ones in my local store and I have to say I was a bit meh tbh. I’ll update re quality etc when I get my home shop order if you like.

B84101 · 25/08/2021 14:09

I'm so glad you ordered them oodies, I ordered three for my own children. They are super soft 😍

neverornow · 25/08/2021 14:18

Great thread! Littlewoods summer sale is on at the moment. Got some good reductions on kids clothes.

Feckinlego · 25/08/2021 14:36

Great thread! I'll be obsessed with it! Anyone have any recommendations for santa hotel breaks? More to the north of the country as I'm in donegal.

B84101 · 25/08/2021 14:44

I seen this and it looks good, I have never been.

Heard good reviews about this santascottage.co.uk/

Feckinlego · 25/08/2021 16:11

Thanks. They look great. Have been to donegal lapland and its fab.

All the good dates/times seem to be taken already. Have heard great things about it. We went to Oakfield Park in Donegal last year and really enjoyed it. The Slieve Donard one looks good too.

Anyone any other recommendations for Santa experiences? DC would love a train ride!

Feckinlego · 25/08/2021 16:55

Oakfield Park is fab too. Shandon is supposed to be fantastic but it's quite expensive.

B84101 · 25/08/2021 17:26

I'm meath, so I must keep an eye out myself, I heard causey farm is meant to be magical, it didn't run last year so I'm hoping I can book in this year 😊

thelegohooverer · 25/08/2021 17:31

Causey Farm is very good too. They’re still dithering about Christmas but it’s worth keeping a sharp eye on their website because it sells out quickly.

It’s a few years now since we’ve been but they loved sliding down into Santa’s workshop, seeing their names on the good list and then Santa making his entrance via the fire place.

But if you want to meet the real Santa, he hangs out at the Stephen’s Green Grotto. There’s no experience but he’s the real deal. I got goosebumps!

ShoppingBasket · 25/08/2021 20:11

No good for Donegal but Rathwood Co. Carlow is great too

Thanks for the tip about stephens greens grotto, I will look into it this Xmas. Thanks 😊

B84101 · 25/08/2021 20:30

I went to the tlt Christmas experience last year, my girls enjoyed it. The santa had a real beard and looked the part, it's running again this year but I'm going to try and get causey.
