Hi,
Due to Brexit things are a bit trickier with ordering online from UK. Not like the good old days!
Thought it a good idea to start one so we don't clog up the other thread with what can and can't be delivered to ROI and what deals we can avail of.
If anyone has any deals they spot in ROI either.

Currently adidas have 35% off if you have Revolut. I ordered bits and it worked perfectly. Free delivery also which also makes me happy!

@ilovetea14 thanks a million I might see if I can go tomorrow and get them

UnicornsDoExist · 02/11/2022 07:55

Got bargain on aftershave for husband in Boots at the weekend, half price down to €45! Was delighted.

Delighted this thread has being bumped up. 🌲

Lidl has their stollen and panettone in store. And DSis reports that SUperValu have their mince pies available. No quality control testing has been done...yet! 🤣

I was in The Range in Limerick on Saturday in passing and they had a HUgE Christmas area!

Thats my local Range too. I was there last Friday and got 11 stocking fillers for 40 euro. I try to shop local but need to cut corners too with so many prices rising this year.

Woodies have a sale on christmas decorations online.

I bought stuff from the hype website. I'm been charged €15 custom charge. If I don't pay they will send it back does anyone know will they refund my money if items are returned? Thanks I've never had to pay custom charges before don't know how it works.

What did you buy? If its kids clothing you can claim it back after paying, you need to email them. You'll have to show proof it's kids clothing.
I'm sure the company will have to refund you when they receive the package back?

ilovetea14 · 02/11/2022 09:26

@LaTangerina I bought a set of 3kids tops and lucky dip which is a bag and stuff and jumper for me.

whatwillicallmyself · 02/11/2022 09:52

@Christmaspumpkinseeds would you mind telling me what sort of things you got for stocking fillers I am stuck for ideas this year, I would love to go to one shop and get quite a few things like that.

This is what I got. Had actually taken a picture for DSis as her DS is the same age as mine.

I was only in the Range looking for sewing stuff as, although Hickey's had what i needed on their website, the Limerick shop "doesn't sell that". (I'd pulled off the motorway from Dublin to Clare for that!). Now debating if I should take a wander into Limerick later this week (can't do en route back as I need to leave at 7am on Saturday and they won't be open yet, even if I had time).

turkeyboots · 02/11/2022 19:57

I work in Limerick so will def be sneaking back in there over the next few weeks to pick up a few more bits 😀Going there tonight to look at the decorations with DH but DC will be with us so will keep away from the toy section.

Christmaspumpkinseeds · 03/11/2022 07:08

Geansai · 05/11/2022 15:47

Aldi have little lego sets 2 for 10euro from 10 Nov includes frozen and Wolverine

Whatsleftnow · 05/11/2022 16:10

Lovely to see this thread again. It was handy last year.

I’m so over ordering from the UK now, as it’s too much effort trying to work out if the text message about customs charges is real or a con. I’m just sticking to the EU now.

I was in Smyths this morning for the first time in an age, and there were some decent reductions on some of the Lego sets. Worth a gander at the website if you’re looking for something in particular.

Atlantic252 · 11/11/2022 19:15

Agree so lovely to see this thread again too, although I had missed the latest updates. It's very depressing being on the main thread and so many of the offers are no longer available to us due to Brexit grrr.
Anyway just in case it helps to echo the post above about Smyths and Lego - I didn't get any notification but I've been after a specific Lego technic helicopter and it's down from €209 to €159 at Smyths online - pretty much in line with the Amazon offer in GBP on the main thread (that wasn't available to us...).

So if you're after something specific it might be worth having a look at Smyths or keep checking back.

Whatsleftnow · 11/11/2022 21:50

That’s a sweet reduction @Atlantic252

If anyone sees any bubble tea gift sets, or knows where to buy boba, could you give me a heads up. I saw a gift set in Penney’s but the flavours weren’t right for dd.

I really haven’t got my head into Christmas yet. Most years I’m done by now.

Geansai · 12/11/2022 21:31

Easons has 30% off when you sign up to newsletter- great jigsaws, gifts and lego on there. 28% off using code THREEBF
