Christmas bargain thread 1

Greetings folks, it’s that time again!

Starting a fresh for 2021, so if anyone has any specific links they’d like or think would be handy to add to the list for the next thread please do let me know.

Hope you’ve all had a better year so far than last year and here’s hoping things will be at a point for a more celebratory Christmas with friends and family (and lots of bargains) this year.

I can't remember which poster was asking but I've used Brandalley in the past and they were great. They do spam you with emails afterwards though but you can unsubscribe.

I also put in a Rex London order and was pleased with the quality. Got bamboo toothbrushes, lion toy in a tin, bamboo drinking cup and dinosaur temporary tattoos which were all lovely.

I also tried my first Baked In cinnamon buns yesterday. Oh my goodness they are lovely so I'll definitely be ordering more for baking with the DC.

Not as cheap as yesterdays bargain but Blokus £9.99 with free postage. I have used this company before, takes a bit longer for postage but still good.

Please could someone remind me what the website is with the cheap dog leads and harnesses on?

DS has asked for a switch. I’ve seen you can get a memory card for them. Can anyone tell me how essential these are?

@princessbear80 I can’t say I’ve used mine without the memory card so can’t say for certain if they work without but it downloads a temporary game file onto the memory card. Some games, such as Zelda, require extra bits downloading from the internet before you can play too which makes the memory card very important

My sons have a switch and we buy the physical games so they can be used on both consoles. A year down the line and we haven't needed the memory card.

We don't have a memory card in ours, for the same reason.

Remember the bargain of the century 90p throw? Those were the days!

I'm really struggling to find Go Jetters toys, the hard figures, jetpad etc rather than the soft toys. They seem to be out of stock everywhere! I've managed to get a Kian, Xuli, Glitch and fax with a clinic on each but can't get a Foz or Ubercorn and can't get any vehicles or extras - can anyone help? I want new ideally so they can be used as gifts.

@Beaglemum93 Thank you for the tip about Trotters, I’ve never seen the website before and managed to get a lovely gift for my niece.

I think they may have been discontinued, @Mummyoply. I bought some a few years ago now and they were hard to get then.

@Mummyoply I also struggled to get go jetters toys a few years ago. If you resort to eBay watch out as I ended up buying the cheap ones that came free with the magazine by mistake instead of the proper toys.

@17caterpillars1mouse I'm not sure that they will, I think they go with the plastic track.
