I think some places are leaving it late this year after having to cancel last year. There were loads of tickets available on the one we've booked; maybe people are being cautious too. 🤷‍♀️

It's quite wet here. We're set for a few unsettled days, apparently.

The wreath is cute, Most. I'm doing my birth sampler then need to crack on with the one of the kids. I'm dreading it, but it's meant to be a Christmas present so need to crack on!

Morning folks bit of a grey start here. I have been invited to a colleagues wedding reception in November. I can't remember the last time I went to a wedding and my brain is in shock at having to buy a going out outfit! 🤣

Not sure I would know where to start with wearing a formal outfit now why

Weather rubbish here. Have a busy day of play dates however.

We've had masses of rain in a short space of time. It's still pitch black and keeps whooshing with rain, stopping, then whooshing again!

I have been to very few weddings in my life. I've done well to avoid, I think! 🤣🤣

I wasn't good with formal outfits before all this lockdown stuff happened Most. 🤣

I haven't been to loads of weddings Fluffy compared to some close friends who seemed to go to one every week for quite some time.

The sun is splitting the flags now. The weeds will be growing like the clappers. Yay. #sarcasm 🙄

Home safely - mostly unpacked too.

Holiday knitting project was Christmas related too (they are for the Woolly Hugs Christmas sale)

Morning. Due loads more rain later, but it's dry at the mo.
I've been to a few weddings, but none for over 20 yrs. One didn't last the day...the bride found out the groom had been shagging the bridesmaid. Weddings without a punch-up seemed a bit dull after that one!

Puss can't beat an atmospheric wedding. One of my aunts had a meltdown because her father turned up to her wedding and the family had been estranged for years it went really badly for the father and he left.

It's tipping it down here, I haven't driven in rain like it for years, the roads are rivers and now I'm in the gym with wet feet going to go straight to lidl after I think. Dh is working tomorrow instead of today.

I don't recall that wedding, Why! Was I there?

Puss, I'd have loved to have been at that wedding...sounds like one straight out of a soap opera!

Dry here for now. Our forecast has improved a bit, it seems. Still wet, but not as heavy / prolonged as they previously thought. It could still change though!

Fluffy The bride is a relative, she ditched him and the next 2 and has said she'll never marry again.

The Groom (his bro) was not impressed - and neither was my Aunty (their mum) 😂

The roads are all flooded here now. The river had rises about 1.5ft in three hours this morning and is now completely over the road. Also lots of places without power (not us thankfully!).

We've had loads of rain. We don't really tend to flood though, thankfully. My pumpkins will be enormous thanks to all the rain! 🎃🤣🎃

We're having a tidying and sorting day. The sofa that was taking up loads of room in our bedroom has gone back to DH's parents' house and we've moved my desk and the bookcase round. I've touched up the paint in our room where it had marks and we've bunged some stuff up in the loft as well.

We moved the bed to clean under it. Grim! 😱🤮

You were at the wedding Fluffy, I saw it all as I went to the bathroom. I think you were with mum.

We keep getting really heavy bursts of rain, then a load of sun...the shed roof looks like it's smouldering with the steam coming off it 😂

It's gone dark again, so I think another wave has arrived.

fluffy moving the bed was brave - DH cleaned the oven for me this morning he's a keeper

Chucking it down again now! Glad I went to the charity bin straight after my shower, else I'd either be getting wet or not going at all!

We're still in bed. Need to get up and go to the allotment soon though. The weeds won't pull themselves out of the ground!

Discovered last night that my last two bras are both broken so need to replace those. Hate spending money on bras and due to size of knockers I do have to spend a lot

I don't wear bras. Not proper ones anyway, just crop top ones, some are triangle and some are normal crop top. I don't have much in the boob department though

We're forecast heavy rain again. Need to try and get dd to record her piano exam, it's a big headache she's so emotional all the time.

Most where do you shop for bras? I used to be an M&S only shopper but bought some from Sainsbury's recently that have been quite good.

It's been chucking it down here this morning, so we've cleaned the inside of the living room window and replaced the net curtain - the old one was barely holding itself together thanks to the cats. They've already had a good sniff at the new one. I suspect it won't look new for long. 😹😹

most I hate bra shopping too. It's expensive and a PITA trying to argue with 2 bald headed convicts about their new prison cells.
