fluffy you've a big capacity washing maching (9-10kg)? What's the heaviest tog duvet (KS) you'd risk before you'd worry that you'd overloaded it? 🤔
Don't worry, it's not in yet - I'm at the "wash" or "replace" coin-toss, and don't want to spend £££ on a new machine when this one is perfectly fine at the mo. 😂
The other option is chuck 3 x 13.5tog duvets on the whirly washing line while it rains today/tomorrow...🤞🏻 🙃

It's 11kg, Puss! I'd stick a 13.5 tog in. We've definitely done 10.5 in ours (ours clip together, so that's the highest weight we have).

Somebody has stolen the forecast rain from us. Nothing (over a 50% chance) until tomorrow now!

I might try the 10.5 and see how it goes. I know it sounds daft, but I love my washing machine 😻 and don't want to hurt it by overstuffing it with a stupid fat duvet that I don't ever use I could replace for £20🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Wreck Thursday = drying ground very chalky soil fab for drainage which, as the going is "heavy" at the mo, is probably not a bad thing.

fluffy our rain has buggered off. I'm sick of the forecast telling me there will be "showers" when we're getting sod all. The spots of rain we had before evaporated before they could make it to ground level. 😡🤷🏻‍♀️

I was brought home by police once, purely for my one well-being as I was absolutely hammered and my so called friends were nowhere to be found. I couldn't even give my address, they had to use my phone to call my mum
Was also 'detained' during a few protests while in uni but never actually got in any trouble!

Rain here too 🌧 I had to get DH to pull the car around in Sainsbury's on the way out to stop me getting soaked.

Just back from dm's birthday meal. It was a disaster - niece had tantrum after tantrum and some of the food was awful so we won't be going there again.

Home with a much needed rum now 🥃

Morning!

We had some rain overnight, as the buckets have around one inch of water in them. So barely anything. Apparently this lunchtime is where the rain is at, but bearing in mind they keep removing the rain from the forecast, I'll believe it when I see it, frankly!

Crazy, that sounds like one of those meals out where you wish you just hadn't bothered! Thankfully we haven't had many of those.

50 days until Mr @FireflyGirl's birthday...have you planned what you get him yet?! 100 until mine!

No rain here, but it was promised! Thunderstorms forecast later today, so we'll see.

DH is very difficult to buy for, Fluffy. He mostly buys gadgets/parts for his computer which I wouldn't have a clue about . It's the big 4-0 this year (he's a couple of years older than me), and I was planning to take him away, but between Covid and DD refusing to take milk except from me, I don't think that's going to happen.

When you break it down like that (50 days to his birthday, another 50 days to yours, then 50 to Christmas) it seems like no time at all!

On holiday with a terrace and balcony and we had torrential rain this morning. Was amazing to sit outside in the dry and just listen to the rain.

DH is similarly tricky here. I always get him undies, beer, coffee and something else! This year being the cross stitch! Not helped by his birthday being so bloody close to Christmas.
