Morning. Looks like a cloudy but dry day here after rain yesterday. I still feel like we need a good storm to clear everything out though.

DH had to wake me this morning - I was so out of it that apparently I switched my alarm off 🙄
Am now sat having a cuppa before starting work.

We've just received a notification from ds school that 2 of the years must self isolate. Not ds but still. We're so close to the end. He finishes on Wednesday for the summer.

4 weeks until the holidays here. Don't feel I can plan much until we know when we are moving however. We do have a UK holiday booked for the week beginning 26th July.

Morning folks. Well I am sat in bed having a cup of tea. I put some gammon in the slow cooker which has made me feel exceptionally efficient. I have also put the washing machine on. I am concerned I may have peaked now 🤣

I've got a really busy day at work today. Can't be bothered though! The weather makes it harder.

Ooo I've found the blue light card services day at legoland is on the 28th November which is two days after ds' birthday AND will be the Christmas themed! That can be his birthday trip. They have one at the beginning of the month too but ds said he would prefer the Christmas one I'm not sure how quickly they sell out, or if they do, can't afford to book it yet though.

most I predict your moving date will be somewhere w/c 26th July. You should be able to negotiate something - are they moving into rented near to where they are now?

We've managed to ruin part of the lawn. It's turned a bit brown and crispy after having the old roofing felt spread over it as a template for where to cut the new pieces. 🤦🏻‍♀️
It's surprising how warm and sticky the back was when we were rolling/folding it up to take it to the tip.

Our lawn is brown due to lack of rain. It does mean I don't have to mow it though, as that will make it worse!

Good shout re Legoland, Wreck. We're still pissed off about Blue Light. DH is a social care worker, just not the right type, according to them. Took them months to refund too.

We do not need rain here! A whole month's worth fell on Friday. I've got 4 water butts all full to the brim and my roses and clematis were battered - not a euphemism.

I've got my second wash of the day in, I've emptied the dishwasher, sorted the recycling and made DS's bed. I'd best follow why's example and stop there although there's a couple of kitchen cupboards that could do with a sort out

We are all very productive this morning! I have tidied the house after the weekend, taken out the bins, put a wash on and am about to put it out, cleaned the litter trays and requested quotes from 3 removal companies. Think I should spend the rest of the day watching LoD!

The Cricket club and Rugby club took a battering it ripped up their all weather practice pitch and Tesco former railway/station area was under water too (about 20yrs ago - before I met DH).
