I haven't seen this thread yet and it's one I enjoy - the annual game of fridge jenga!

Here is ours - no meat in there yet so not sure where that is going to fit 😬

There is lots of booze & juice as well as prawn cocktail, squirty cream & double cream, red cabbage, Savoy cabbage, sprouts, a gazillion cheeses

Well, it's a good job I've bought loads as our planned 4 people is now 7! I'm very glad I bought more stuff in M&S now.

Ours is for 3+1 and.... plenty of leftovers (best part of Christmas).
Update: I hadn’t calculated on receiving the delivery of a lovely hamper from a company I regularly work for (stopped in March) but it arrived yesterday.
Lots of staples as well as traditional treats, so it will last us into the new year.

No meat here ... mac & cheese for dinner with all the normal roast dinner trimmings to go with it

We are Veggie and Mac n cheese is what the kids wanted

This is ours, just 4 of us this Xmas, little one is dairy, egg and soya free so few extra bits to make some of the dishes suitable for him..lamb is for tomorrow, I have cod in freezer and cabbage for soup somewhere in the fridge ready for my Xmas dinner tonight as this is how we celebrate back home making these dishes, very different from here..back to roast tomorrow..not much dessert in there as I do lots of festive baking just as I have done with my mum growing up, all recipes are from back home and these are biscuity types of bakes so no need to be in fridge..
As you can see I have already started with some wine yesterday

I've pretty much only got Xmas dinner then it's back to beans on toast! Or tomatoes. San Marzano on sourdough. (Income hiatus)

Oh and I had Xmas dinner wine but drank that last night so am wondering if could do a lime juice cordial Xmas day. Wondering. Not totally convinced.

It's sprouts and cabbage, not lobster tails and caviar 🙄 I haven't seen my elderly parents in more than a year and my mental health is down the shitter. I will enjoy the contents of my fridge having scrimped and saved to be able to have the semblance of a festive season.

Ha ha - my fridge is full of food and I've told the DC they can't eat any of it!!

Just to add - I'm on a very low income, food bank user - were so grateful to recieve food parcels from 2 charities. I've barely been eating so could afford fresh Christmas food. I have Long Covid and Post-Covid fatigue as well as a serious mental illness. Not seen my family for over a year. But still happy for a bit of Christmas fun - this is my first Christmas out of hospital in 4 years so I'm going to enjoy it! Life is hard enough as it is - the Christmas board keeps me going!

Have a wonderful Christmas, nice to see some positivity amongst all of this.

Most of the alcohol and all the soft drinks are in the garage 🎄 🎅🏻
