Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

All the presents sorted and wrapped. Dh stayed home this morning so we can wrap presents. A good pile for both of them. I shall not buy anything more for them.

But I would like to buy something for me :)

Has anyone else had issues with Zavvi? (Same company as IWOOT.) I ordered about 10 items in mid-Nov, and have received 2 items from the order. The others either are sat in status "processing" or with "expected dispatch date" of 27th Nov.

I chased them but got back an automated response to say they are aware of delays.

I don't know whether to give up and order elsewhere.

Thanks to whoever recommended online home shop for weighted blankets. I caved and ordered a teddy fleece one on the evening of 13th and it came today! Amazing service. Just hope it helps DS sleep... Have also had great service from TheProfanityPixie on Etsy after I screwed up paying for a custom order (not bargainous but handmade and sweary Xmas Grin).

noodledoodler · 15/12/2020 17:04

@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks you are the absolute winner of all 26 threads!!! A snow machine, wow that is THE best christmas purchase I ever read on here, so impressed

newusernameforxmas · 15/12/2020 17:08

May I be cheeky and ask if anyone can send me a studentbeans discount code for EE please? I only have Unidays and can't get a code which I need for DS' present. Many thanks

Chunkychipsohyeah · 15/12/2020 17:09

@JoHo123 thank you so much, order now placed with £5 saved, much appreciated! So grateful for the kindness on this thread!

Daisy829 · 15/12/2020 17:09

I’ve just phoned boden about my order that I placed on 24 nov & they have said it won’t be here until jan. it’s not a prob for me as it’s an add on gift my dd hasn’t asked for so I’ll give it her when it arrives but just a heads up incase anyone is ordering.

duckduckswan · 15/12/2020 17:13

Need a present for my Dads partner. Don’t know her that well. Perhaps between £15 and £20.
Also, something to wrap up for 21 and 18 year old niece.

Sorry to be so vague, I’m just desperate to finish my shopping 🙈thanks

princessbear80 · 15/12/2020 17:20

I’ve just seen another thread that says the shitting flamingo is in stock at Very. I’m sure someone was looking for one... although I think maybe that pp got one in the end?! Anyway, in case it helps anyone!

TrickyD · 15/12/2020 17:35

@SomethingInTheWaySheCooks

Oh dear I’ve just bought a snow machine 😂 and I can’t even recommend it as it wasn’t bargainous 😊
Wonderful! What do you plan to do with it? Cover the garden with snow? How long does the snow last, is it a sort of foam or is it like the snow from snow makers you get in ski resorts?
yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear · 15/12/2020 18:12

Okay, this might help someone, though I appreciate it might be a bit random...
My five year old has been asking and asking for a John Adams Golden Coin Maker but they are almost impossible to find or at least I've found it to be so.
But I have had luck with Starlings Toymaster which is a toy shop in Norfolk. They had it for £8.99 plus £3.95 post. Very pleased!
