Thanks @GoblinDaughter for the title

It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks
Zoolally DH bought this for me (I sent him the link!) after reading about the sale on these threads. It's just amazing, just what I was looking for. My size now sold out but depends on what you need. Loads of others on the website too. www.mountainwarehouse.com/cosy-wrap-womens-down-jacket-p25471.aspx/Black/?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=BRAND+UK+SHOPPING&utm_term=&utm_content=s|pcrid|356208938570|pkw||pmt||pdv|m|slid||product|031624005007|&gclid=Cj0KCQiAk53-BRD0ARIsAJuNhps6HMvgi82pCYCMVr56h3R3wbAYhyg4rrLvk2tcxZ17VqXhw5yvRfYaApK3EALw_wcBmountainwarehouse
Oh I love that but unfortunately they don’t have my size! Thank you so much though, I’ve seen another one on the site that’s perfect xx

Justonedayatatime11 · 03/12/2020 22:15

TheCrow if you wouldn't mind that would be great, thank you!

boobybum · 03/12/2020 22:17

@kingat Thank you for your code but I can’t get it to work unfortunately ☹️

Went to Aldi today (first time in a real shop in weeks!) Not as much Christmas stuff as I I hoped, but saw a few interesting things: Candy canes in both peppermint and strawberry flavour (good for my DTDs who have opposite taste) and pomegranate Turkish delight that one of them will love. Giant box of Malteasers for £2.99. Lots of boxes of biscuits that would make good presents. Really lovely Sherpa blankets (fleece on one side and teddy fleece on the other) for £14.99. Three of their jo malone rip-off candles for £8.99 in a nice gift box. Guinness Book of Records for £7.50. Monopoly for £14.99
The copper kitchen special buys look really nice. A few nice Friends things (framed print, notebook, cushion) didn't see any squishmallows though.

lotusbell · 03/12/2020 22:23

Ahhh currys are proving to be awful for customer service. Ordered the echo dot at 18.99 last week, tracking number not updated since 25th when it says it's been despatched by the seller but no further info. Hard to get on the live chat, tried Twitter, someone replied then never returned, website is awful, got on live chat then the huge queue as expected. Guy says he has to put it as lost in transit, may take 14 - 21 days to resolve. Then I accidentally closed the chat, I'm so annoyed! Of course, now the price is 39.99 if you can find it in stock anywhere. Fuming!

Autumnwoman · 03/12/2020 22:31

@LostMyRubySlippers A faff indeed.

I think I will hang onto line until the January sales.

Whyisitsodifficult · 03/12/2020 22:37

Anyone seen a deal on Oculus Quest 2? They seem to be £299 everywhere!

Avoca76 · 03/12/2020 22:39

If anyone sees any Lego advent calendars on sale over the next few weeks could you let me know please? Mine is just getting into Lego and I would like to get one ready for next year!

LittleSquirrels · 03/12/2020 22:42

Wanted to say thanks to those who mentioned debenhams before as I remembered I had a gift card still to use so that's my dad sorted and a little gift for me too.

I also brought some of the lovely garden fairy houses for my mum im not sure who shared the link but thank you 😊

Can anyone help with where I can find any good offers on Brio?

Puffalicious · 03/12/2020 22:44

Glad you found one Zolally

Rubyroo73 · 03/12/2020 22:44

Allbeauty.com have some good deals at the mo. I wanted a l’occitane bauble and they had 10% off so £10.80 instead of £12 with free delivery too. Quite a few gift sets and things too.

I have put a 10% referral on the referral thread if of use to anyone.

truthlemon · 03/12/2020 22:48

@AtleastitsnotMonday how about non-transitive dice

Elpheba · 03/12/2020 22:50

Not strictly Christmas but I need some bargainous greetings card- realised with so few shop trips this year I’ve heavily run down my at home stock of birthday cards/new home cards etc. I used to stock up in paper chase but they’ve closed permanently in my nearest city 😭 where do people get bargainous but still nice cards??

DillieDoily · 03/12/2020 22:57

@Bezzi thank you for the fairy door offer- I had no idea I needed 2 of these things but my daughter is going to love them!

Purpleheadgirl · 03/12/2020 23:05

Has anyone got any Hobbycraft codes please to reduce a £70 order? Thanks

hotchocdrinker · 03/12/2020 23:36

@Elpheba for really good quality cards take a look at Whistlefish. They always have multi buy offers on and you can buy a nice tin to keep them in.

IggyAce · 03/12/2020 23:41

@Elpheba typo and ohh dear do greetings cards and they are often on offer. M&S carry a nice range of greeting cards. Card factory is where I usually buy cards from.

Bsmirched · 03/12/2020 23:52

@Whyisitsodifficult

Anyone seen a deal on Oculus Quest 2? They seem to be £299 everywhere!
No...DS asked for one and we've been watching everywhere. No deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday so we had to bite the bullet and get one at £299.
boobybum · 04/12/2020 00:04

@kingat Never one to be defeated - I’ve just tried your Matalan code using a different device and it worked! Thank you so much 😊

Cluelessgift · 04/12/2020 01:47

If anyone’s looking for little stocking fillers
