It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Brilliant news @Turnedouttoes, hopefully mine will come equally as quickly!

Bemystarlord · 28/11/2020 22:24

Not shopped with them before but books2door have free delivery if anyone is looking for childrens books.

Apply the code BFCM2020 in the checkout page to get free delivery.

TheGriffle · 28/11/2020 22:25

@SparklingLime I ordered a Dreamscene one weeks ago and it’s brilliant. Although my 7yo has stolen it at the minute. So thick and warm. Great for the price.

FizzyPink · 28/11/2020 22:29

@SparklingLime I was advised on a separate thread by lots of posters to order the Sienna. I’m so pleased I did, the quality is brilliant for the price

MydeamonsanOstrich · 28/11/2020 22:29

Thanks for the heads up on Go Ape BF 25% discount offer. Going to have a very happy 6 year old!

SparklingLime · 28/11/2020 22:30

Thank you, @Theimpossiblegirl and @thegriffe.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 28/11/2020 22:56

@CarrieMoonbeams, I have this page open right now for veggie-friendly hot choc bombes because I got festive drink envy. Maybe not such a bargain but definitely worth it to combat the FOMOSmile

AnnnaBananna · 28/11/2020 23:00

I ordered the fake oodies from The Online Home Store
So they’re legit then? The website looks dodgy but if people have received their goods I’ll risk it.

Famousthehero · 28/11/2020 23:11

@AnnnaBananna yep I ordered the sienna from online home shop as saw them recommended here and it came within a couple of days.

Famousthehero · 28/11/2020 23:18

Also for the hot choc bombs, I've realised we have a spherical silicone ice cube tray so I'm going to attempt a DIY effort... If any good I may gift them to grandparents.

I have visions of dd3 piping/painting into the mould with white choc and then setting milk choc over it. What could possibly go wrong.

AnnnaBananna · 28/11/2020 23:22

Is the Sienna decent quality? Reviews on Amazon say it’s inconsistent, some have holes etc.

CarrieMoonbeams · 28/11/2020 23:32

Thank you @MydeamonsanOstrich, there's a Card Factory fairly local to me so I'll pop in next week.

Thanks also @CoffeeAndEnnui, that looks almost perfect, except it's dark chocolate, which I'm not keen on. If you get some though and recommend it, I'll have a go too!

ButtonMoonLoon · 28/11/2020 23:43

I ordered this for my sister and it's great - so happy with the quality of it

CoffeeAndEnnui · 29/11/2020 00:08

@CarrieMoonbeams, will do. I'll order midweek when (hopefully) I'm a bit more flush from invoices being settled. Need to wait because I seem to have added quite a bit to my basket. Oops.

Barry Lewis (YouTube) has done a DIY tutorial on making your own with a mould if you want some ideas.
Iggi999 · 29/11/2020 00:16

I've just spent a fair bit on weighted blankets so I hope they are good! Might try it before I give it to ds, see if it would help me too Smile

Christmasmcchristmasface · 29/11/2020 00:41

I got my milk frother for £19.99
Not the Lavazza one I coveted but
twin milk frother from Jean patrique £19.99

frother

There is a referral code for 15% but I won’t pop up as it’s my name 🙈 instead use the code chopchop for I think 20% off

BalaamsAss · 29/11/2020 01:16

@CupoTeap my 13 year old DD and all her friends would be delighted with any kind of nice stationery. If you have a Sostrene Grene near you, it’s very popular with that age group. (And with me!) Other recent successes stationery-wise for DD have been cute post-its (Oh Deer sale), metallic highlighters, brush calligraphy pens, how to book for hand lettering.

Also any kind of fairy lights would go down well. One of DD’s favourites is her set of photo peg lights and they are currently around £7 on Amazon which is a great price.

Cinderellashoes · 29/11/2020 04:56

Not used this site before but Bonus Print have really good Black Friday discounts on their websites. photo calendars, canvases and prints etc all half price. My photo calendar was £10 instead of £23 the code is on the website.

IggyAce · 29/11/2020 05:07

@CupoTeap my dd 14 & friends are very into sheet face masks, it was Revolution pallets last year (they currently have friends themed ones) however it’s Morphe pallets this year. She also loves bath bombs, nice pens & highlighters, cute post it notes (neon sheep).

Famousthehero · 29/11/2020 05:52

Ooh thanks for the tip @eitak22 Star

NewYorkIvy · 29/11/2020 06:26

@Christmasmcchristmasface I was resisting a milk frother, but that one looks ace, and it just fell into my basket.

Thank you

Asj0405 · 29/11/2020 07:11

@runningpiink Tesco had some great offers on TVs when I called in the other day which I think are on until 1st December.

There was a Toshiba 58" 4K smart TV for £299 or a 43" one for £199 and then there was a 50" for £250 but not sure of the brand with that one.

I think curry's also have lots of offers on TVs at the moment.

They're out of stock https://www.cardfactory.co.uk/melting-white-chocolate-snowman/50765.html online] but hopefully you'll get them in store. They came in a nice box and looked more nicely presented than the plastic packed aldi ones I thought.
