It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

BalaamsAss · 26/11/2020 19:56

Thanks for the new thread @Reastie.

I am doing the ultimate multi-tasking - sitting in my new house, surrounded by boxes, trying to sort out the DC’s rooms so they can at least get to bed, while also connecting to a zoom call at DS’s school about A-level choices, and of course doing a quick bit of bargain hunting at the same time!

NoWordForFluffy · 26/11/2020 20:01

I need to not twitch on more Lego! 😂😂

Flora20 · 26/11/2020 20:04

Hi, I've been following the threads but haven't posted yet - we're getting a balance bike for our almost 3 year old, budget is £50-60, and we need one that will grow with her. Anyone seen any bargains, or got any discount codes for Halfords? Thanks!

ritzbiscuits · 26/11/2020 20:08

@Flora20 take a look at decathlon.

This one is very similar to the one we had, can't recommend it more highly. After a year on that he managed a pedal bike within an hour.

ButtonMoonLoon · 26/11/2020 20:15

Can anyone recommend any ear pods or ear buds that aren’t super expensive?

We've all used taotronics headphones off of Amazon for the past couple of years.

I have the ipx8 which are solid buds like AirPods as I don't get on with the wobbly rubber ones . Charge lasts really well and they were only £30

hiredandsqueak · 26/11/2020 20:26

Thank you for the National Trust code I got the Angela Harding Calendar for £3.50 delivered, a real steal.

ButtonMoonLoon · 26/11/2020 20:27

Thanks so much, I’ll take a look at them!

Clevererthanyou · 26/11/2020 20:28

Darn it all to buggery, does anyone know of any companies/websites that have soaps on offer please? Dfriend absolutely loves soaps and id love to get her something other than Imperial Leather lol. Bomb cosmetics Black Friday sale don’t have any of their soaps included 🤔

IggyAce · 26/11/2020 20:35

@Baileyscoffeeandcampfires happy to help, the holiday sounds amazing. I would so love a walk along the coast but I have to isolate until 1st, but can’t wait to escape.

Daisy829 · 26/11/2020 20:37

My hotel Chocolat hamper has arrived. I was going to give the boxes of chocs away as gifts but I don’t think I can. The flavours sound so yummy I’m going to keep them for myself and enjoy them. I might regret this choice come January but it feels the right way to go.

ClaraTheImpossibleGirl · 26/11/2020 20:37

Free delivery on pies Grin with code BLACK at Turners Pies

@Clevererthanyou Friendly Soap have had Black Friday sales before (but not yet!), however their prices are quite reasonable anyway! Or there is 15% off at the Somerset Toiletry Company?

IggyAce · 26/11/2020 20:39

@Clevererthanyou the Yorkshire soap company do some lovely soaps. Also Nesti Dante is a lovely soap brand can buy from Amazon, TK maxx and look fantastic.

Blankiefan · 26/11/2020 20:41

Aldi have ones in shaped like snowmen. I picked one up for dd. I can't remember the price but they were £2/3 ish
Wiifitmama · 26/11/2020 20:49

@ButtonMoonLoon I have earbuds by Boltune. My husband also has the same brand, though a slightly different shape. Both bought through Amazon. I think they are really good for the price and use them a lot. I just bought a set for my adult ds for Christmas too. They are currently on a black friday deal (but I think it ends today). There are 3 different ones to choose from, all ranging in price from £26-£28. I sent back a pair by Anker before getting these. These have been much better.

IggyAce · 26/11/2020 20:53

My Amazon Kids wishlist 15% code was in my spam folder! I would advise those who are still waiting to check there.

I have seen so many Lakeland codes about and now I have decided that I need a waffle maker too. Blush does anyone have one going begging please?

TheSilentStars · 26/11/2020 21:00

l'Occitane have some beautiful soaps in their sale area. Am pondering whether I need to treat myself.
