It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

@icanboogieboogiewoogie Boots have this Clinique men’s set.

suneetime · 28/11/2020 11:27

I need to get gift cards for Superdrug and M&S. Are there any deals to be had?

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks · 28/11/2020 11:30

thelegohooverer You could try an escape game. There’s a good range called Exit. But of course you can only play once. Forbidden Island is also great and there are lots in the range.

Jedstre · 28/11/2020 11:39
@silky86 I’m glad you pointed that out before I bought 2 of them! What a misleading photo. I’m thinking of just getting the Dunelm V Pillow instead. Gutted I missed the cuddle cushions though. The kids would have loved them and they were supposed to be the big (in size) present as all the other parcels are small.

I might still but the bullet and buy the Urban Outfillers ones Confused
I didn’t see the cuddle cushions when I placed an order but I have ordered one of those V pillows for my daughter which should be here by Monday.

icanboogieboogiewoogie · 28/11/2020 11:40

Thank you all! Bloody Boots' Clinique set was out of stock but managed to get another one from JL. There's much less out there in terms of men's premium skin care than I imagined.

handmademitlove · 28/11/2020 11:44

Does anyone think there are going to be any new deals for Cyber Monday? none of the stuff I want to get was in the BF sales and trying to decide whether to hold on for monday or just buy anyway!

Jedstre · 28/11/2020 11:47

@YouWantToDoWhatInAPyrexDish I’m going to do a Claire’s order today. There’s cash back with Quidco.

RenardeRenarde · 28/11/2020 11:47

If you’re thinking about v pillows instead Very have them in 4 colours for £10 (in teddy fleece) and also 2 leopard print teddy fleece versions for £15 each if you prefer
@PinkDaydreams B&M or Homesense do lovely ceramic bowls with handles and lids. Think they're supposed to be soup bowls, but pretty sure you could use them for cereal.
Thank you. Sorry I should have said, not ceramic and with a lid as it'll be used to take to work

Autumnwoman · 28/11/2020 11:52
@autumnwoman I have messaged magazine company so will report back if I hear anything!
Thank you!

uniqlo · 28/11/2020 12:04

@Notlongnow1 @Autumnwoman another one whose giftcard isn't working. Gutted as thought we'd be able to take advantage of the 25% off this weekend :(

Ginblooded · 28/11/2020 12:04

@PinkDaydreams
I've seen this if it's any good!

IggyAce · 28/11/2020 12:09

@PinkDaydreams how about this can’t vouch for the website, I just did a quick google search for travel cereal bowls.

handmademitlove · 28/11/2020 12:14

@thelegohooverer have a look at hana I cooperative card based game, or forbidden desert etc as PP suggests.

CamdenLurker · 28/11/2020 12:28

@TheLastStarfighter

The Dunelm Cuddle Cushion has been out of stock for about a week. I stupidly assumed they would have loads, and was leaving it to the end of November to buy two of them just because they are so bulky.

I’ve looked for an alternative but not found anything the same. If you search for “reading pillow” there are similar shapes, but not with the nice cover. I even considered buying a couple of teddy bear blankets and making covers.

I got one in Aldi for £16.99, shtetl had grey blush pink and cream.
CompleteBarstool · 28/11/2020 12:29

I saw grey teddy fleece cuddle cushions in Lidl or Aldi recently but dont recall the price I'm afraid.

Rubyroo73 · 28/11/2020 12:29

For anyone looking at waffle makers, I've just bought this Russell Hobbs combined waffle/sandwich/panini maker from AO.com for £25. Currently £45 in argos so a £20 saving..

IggyAce · 28/11/2020 12:30

Not bargain related but I need a good gingerbread recipe to make those mini gingerbread houses that sit on cup rim. It is however related because I find myself in need of the recipe because of the bargain cookie cutter needed for such Christmas cuteness recommended a few threads back.

SilkieAndMoonface · 28/11/2020 12:35

@thelegohooverer
Forbidden Island, if they're not experienced gamers, or if they are you could try either of the others, Forbidden Desert or Forbidden Sky.

EnglishRose1320 · 28/11/2020 12:36

I'm sure it's been mentioned before but I'm after suggestions for mens toiletries, specifically a face wash and scrub/exfoliate type thing. Oh normally uses Nivea but wants to try something a bit nicer but not ridiculously expensive, something if he liked it he could justify carry on using the rest of the year.

TheLastStarfighter · 28/11/2020 12:40

Thanks for the Aldi tip for the cuddle cushions. I’ll be passing one this afternoon, so will pop in and see. I wanted to see if they had any squishmallows anyway (although I suspect not, as it’s quite a small one).

Was it Aldi for the hot chocolate bombs too? I’m losing track.

sorryiasked · 28/11/2020 12:46

@thelegohooverer sorry autocorrect struck - the game is Hanabi

Yeknom · 28/11/2020 12:52

@TheLastStarfighter yep, aldi for the melting hot choc snowmen - white and milk choc. £1.99 (I've literally just bought 3)
