It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.

Thank you for the joke book!

Well today has been expensive and productive... dd1 is finished (except a pesky five nights at freddys exclusive figure that I cannot find anywhere), dd2 is done, dh is done, ordered half of my sisters/her boyfriend and my mums/her partner, my secret santa.
Several orders from EMP, one from kukubird, another from blippo, a few bits on amazon, toysforapound and poundtoy. Only shop I wanted stuff from and couldn't order was studio, all I wanted was pigs in blankets wrapping paper and racing crackers!!! Bloody stupid account registration system not working!!
Just got fil and nephew and a few add on bits to get now.

Someone was asking about personalised necklaces earlier, and it’s not the same but these gold constellation star sign necklaces from Accessorize are very pretty and down from £50 to £35 constellation necklaces

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 28/11/2020 02:06

We got DD’s name necklaces from My Name Necklace. The necklaces are really lovely and also the company usually have a discount code. Especially if you add something to your basket and then leave it there a day or two lol

HoHoHolyMackerel · 28/11/2020 02:25

I'm tempted by the laithwaites deal, I also get 20% cashback via Lloyd's. Do you think it will track on top of the voucher code though as often that doesn't work?

silky86 · 28/11/2020 06:41

Thanks OP for the laithwaites deal - just ordered plus 20% cash back with Santander too!

Allhallowseve · 28/11/2020 06:45

BalaamsAss · 28/11/2020 07:05

Just tried to use one of my Cox and Cox mention me codes on a set of hooks which are already reduced and it tells me that the code is not valid. It’s definitely still in date and there is nothing in the terms and conditions to suggest that it can’t be used on things already reduced. I’m a bit miffed to be honest

silky86 · 28/11/2020 07:15

I was going to buy my kids the dunelm cuddle cushions cuddle but just found a kids version too kids cuddle. Has anyone got either and can advise? My kids are 11&8 happy to buy the bigger one if it's a better size but don't want it to be too big. Thanks x

littlestpogo · 28/11/2020 07:27

Apologies these may have been mentioned - Aromatherapy Associate 25% off site wide and a free mini moment with spends over £50. 30% off their forest collection. Still not a bargain but lovely products.. This works also still has 25% off.

Separately our iPad has died Sad - was hoping it would limp through to the new year! I’ve been Googling away but can’t see any good deals around atm but thought I’d double check here! Just looking for the very basic iPad.

Anyone have any bargainacious ideas what to buy for a class of 31 Year 5 children. I like to get them a little gift for Christmas and the Head has agreed it’s ok as long as it’s quarantined/procedures followed. They seem quite a grown up bunch and I’m stumped. Have already done the hot choc cones, a key ring, a Christmas bauble etc in previous years. Anyone got any cheap and cheerful inspiration?

eitak22 · 28/11/2020 07:42

I've got 30 christmas pencils in home bargains for 3 pound. They come with a rubber attached and different designs.

lotusbell · 28/11/2020 07:54

@Puffalicious, I filled my basket with socks to try the code out but resisted once I knew it worked Grin

trumpisaflump · 28/11/2020 08:02

@Allhallowseve thanks for the Amazon book tip. I've tried to find the deal but not having any luck. How do you see which books are included in the offer?

silky86 · 28/11/2020 08:02

Thanks @forestsmurf

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 28/11/2020 08:03

Thanks for the wine tip, super bargain with the blue light code added on top. Does anyone know what the packaging is like for the wines?

winewolfhowls · 28/11/2020 08:04

Allhallowseve · 28/11/2020 08:05

Really thought the Fitbit would come down but it’s still £50

Thewinterofdiscontent · 28/11/2020 08:16

ItWasTheBestOfTimes Ordered a few years ago. Comes in a 12 bottle cardboard box. Glasses were in a box separately.

Allhallowseve · 28/11/2020 08:17

@HoHoHolyMackerel sorry they have thrown a sponsored book in the middle of them all my apologies....maybe it was too early to be looking at bargains Confusedthere are other Christmas books though.

SomethingInTheWaySheCooks · 28/11/2020 08:22

Itwasthebestoftimes We use Laithwaites regularly and the wine is well packaged with cardboard dividers. The box is clearly branded on the outside though, if that’s what you’re wondering.
