It’s nearly December, Father Christmas is busy putting the final touches to his toys on the workshop and we are busy elves preparing for a somewhat different Christmas this year.

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Fuckingfuckssake Haha so am I but I am more trouble than I'm worth because I keep fainting.
This thread is costing me a fortune. Boots, shampoo bars and now wine.

Skullduggeryfizz · 27/11/2020 22:19

Lloyd's are doing 20% cashback as well on the Laithwaites wines

Scout2016 · 27/11/2020 22:20

@Shitfuckoh halifax cashback? What is this sorcery of which you speak? I have been with them years and never knew of this.

Bsgetty · 27/11/2020 22:21

The Handmade festival have a virtual shopping village this weekend, with discounts of 10-30% with code HANDMADEONLINE

There are some gorgeous things on there - jewellery, homewards, toys, craft kits etc. Great for supporting small businesses and getting something a bit different.

@Scout2016

It's this:

www.halifax.co.uk/aboutonline/things-you-can-do/earn-cashback.html

Be careful though, I find myself considering things I don't need but really really want just because I can get cashback! Confused

Fuckingfuckssake · 27/11/2020 22:25

Roald Dahl: Whizzpopping Joke Book £2 on Amazon currently.

Fuckingfuckssake · 27/11/2020 22:25

Well that's not in bold. I'll get my coat.

Shitfuckoh · 27/11/2020 22:27

@Fuckingfuckssake
Thank you. That was on the list of books I wanted for DS2. He'll love it.

Scout2016 · 27/11/2020 22:34

@Shitfuckoh thank you. That was really easy to set up. The good new is I now feel very Modern. The bad is I'm not one of the chosen. Just crappy offers for me.

lotusbell · 27/11/2020 22:44

Try WCM-0PP, @Puffalicious

PinkPanther27 · 27/11/2020 22:46

Rubyroo73 · 27/11/2020 22:47

book

Autumnwoman · 27/11/2020 22:51

Thank you for the Laithwaites deal.

I couldn't find a subscription offer for the mega deal... but I did manage to get it down to £52.70 using the code 30LWQ2 and a Blue Light code.

The Blue Light Card code is here - not sure if it's unique, but worth a try for bargain hunters? BLCVZDX

Fuckingfuckssake · 27/11/2020 23:04

Glad to have helped @Shitfuckoh

HawkinsLab · 27/11/2020 23:09

@Lovemusic33

Hoping you lovely people can help, would like to get dd some smellies (body spray type thing) but everything looks really girly, dd usually wear the lynx unity or the LBGT one they did, are there any non girly toiletries? She wouldn’t be happy with Victoria’s Secret etc.. 🤣
Oh I’ve not heard of Lynx Unity but that looks good!

It might be worth checking out Jack Wills, they don’t seem overly girly and usually smell really nice. I think there’s some on Boots as well as the JW website. Hope you find something she likes, I was just like your DD growing up!

Rockhopper81 · 27/11/2020 23:12

Thanks for the link to the 'How to Draw...' book @Rubyroo73 - I've ordered 4 copies, with the intention of sending 3 to the different households my nephews/nieces live in so that we can do some video call drawing together. I'm really, really, really missing them all. 😞

Lockdownlumpy · 27/11/2020 23:14

Oh good god I can't believe someone actually sat down and invented a flamingo that shits. On the toilet. And eats it.

WhereTheresAHill · 27/11/2020 23:16

@Howmanysleepsnow If @Mumto3thatsme is too far I have a VHS (that I keep purely for when I one day get round to getting all of our old family videos modernised) that you’d be welcome to borrow.

Puffalicious · 27/11/2020 23:58
