Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

EnglishRose1320 · 25/11/2020 13:58

For the 7 yr old boy what about this for football practise at home football trainer

Lolly12 · 25/11/2020 14:03

@EnglishRose1320 was literally about to post the same idea. I got my son one for his birthday recently and it’s gone down well.

No he doesn't like reading. He's my nephew. He likes football although he doesn't have a team that he supports (he plays in a local kids football club but not at the mo' due to Covid). I know he likes Marvel but he has everything to do with Marvel already.
How about the Mitre Scriball that a PP posted on this thread earlier?
weebarra · 25/11/2020 14:11

My HC goodies arrived today, yum!
Has anyone used the Yumi 50% off code BIGSALE recently? I've tried on my phone and laptop and it won't process the sale.

slithytoveisascientist · 25/11/2020 14:17

Sorry for rubbish link, mumsnet should really automate previews

CamdenLurker · 25/11/2020 14:17

*Clinique have 20% off everything plus a FREE full size product when you spend £55.
*
Hope I've done that correctly!

recklessgran · 25/11/2020 14:18

Thank you so much for The White Company code. I just got the winter fragrance oil for £6.40 delivered. [Just can't justify the cost of the beautiful winter candle.]

girlsyearapart · 25/11/2020 14:19

@Iwillneverbesatisfied
My ds loved the football with his name on from the Mitre site and Topps trumps football cards with his photo on

uniqlo · 25/11/2020 14:22

There's 20% cashback on purchases made through the quidco app for H&M, Lego, Body Shop, Groupon and Gap today.

LittleSquirrels · 25/11/2020 14:29

@recklessgran

Hey great idea about the oil! How did you manage to get free delivery thanks x

Gardenworm · 25/11/2020 14:30

A couple of threads ago someone added a really lovely post about gift ideas for elderly in nursing homes (or something along these lines). Just got a name for a person in a local home to buy a gift for, all I know is they are female. I could really do with a screenshot of that post or the posters name so I can search for it if anyone can help?Smile

recklessgran · 25/11/2020 14:36

@LittleSquirrels the code T751J6 gives 20% off plus free delivery.

Pawpawpaws · 25/11/2020 14:37

I was coming on to make same suggestion to @Iwillneverbesatisfied as @girlsyearapart about the mitre personalised football - this has been a huge hit when we’ve gifted previously and it is currently on Black Friday offer for £20 with free delivery here

It was @Graphista.
IToldYouIWasFreaky · 25/11/2020 14:37

I've been holding off doing an M&S order in the hope they'll do an offer before Christmas. I want to get pyjamas for DS and DP and possibly some other bits and pieces.
Should I just bite the bullet and get them ordered? Help me, wise shoppers!

Gardenworm · 25/11/2020 14:38

@Fuckingfuckssake THANK YOU!

Dolphintrainer · 25/11/2020 14:45

Benefit have 20% off everything on their website today. Plus Black Friday one day deals of jumbo size for the price of regular size for the Porefessionall, Hoola and Gimmebrow

Dolphintrainer · 25/11/2020 14:47

FHinds (jewellers) have 10% most of their website. Not a great discount but something if what you need is only there, as an item I needed was.

Dolphintrainer · 25/11/2020 14:50

@Crackery Someone posted a generic code for 15% off Matalan earlier this morning, scroll back to around 8am ish

LittleSquirrels · 25/11/2020 14:52

@recklessgran
Thank you so much!

I've never purchased any fragrance oils from the white company before. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What about a target goal to practise his football skills? www.argos.co.uk/product/8836915
Iwillneverbesatisfied · 25/11/2020 15:00

I'm sorted for my nephew now thanks to this thread, thanks so much!

Just the 2yo girl now.

Both of them have selection boxes already, obviously.

lolarabbit · 25/11/2020 15:15

@Puffincrossing - would a desktop easel with drawers underneath be any good or would that not be enough storage? I think I saw a very cheap version of the in TheWorks but I'm sure there must be lots of other options..
