Thanks to @friskybivalves for the title

I think we might actually make it to 25 threads!!

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

LutherRalph1 · 23/11/2020 20:42

Mitre do a little colour in football called a Scribal which are currently £5 delivered on the mitre website

I had toyed with the idea at full price for my niece who has recently taken up football, so at that reduction I've gone for it. 3 different designs

RJnomore1 · 23/11/2020 20:45

@sugarplumfairy2010 the drop store mentioned earlier hsve good deals on rum. I got DH dead mans fingers for the same price as supermarket but with free mixers. Saying that I was also buying gin which took me to the spend level for free delivery.

lotusbell · 23/11/2020 20:49

@BalaamsAss, can you share the fridge details? DS13 has asked for one for his room but I'm undecided yet whether it's a good idea, he'd only be keeping cans of pop in it Hmm

CarrotVan · 23/11/2020 20:55

Can anyone explain in short words and possibly flash cards how Groupon works?

Also looking for an ancestry kit for my MIL if anyone has recommendations

CoffeeAndEnnui · 23/11/2020 20:56

@Puffalicious, I think you're right. How funny! After initially intending to buy them for two younger girls I've ended up with a total of 9 sloth Oodies (plus a French Bulldog one for a Frenchie loving friend) on their way because I decided that all the grown-ups I love deserve to be snuggly tooBlush

Iggi999 · 23/11/2020 20:58

Carrotvan are you buying a product or an experience from groupon? You register with them, complete the purchase with them and they send you a voucher (if it's an experience) or the thing itself if it's a product. They are like a broker for the people who make the stuff or so the thing.

0ttoline · 23/11/2020 21:04

Has anyone seen a curtain of rainbow fairy lights - to hang at a window - that's going cheap? Or has anyone got a good quality one and would recommend it?

TheLastStarfighter · 23/11/2020 21:04

Can anyone recommend somewhere for hot chocolate bits and bobs? I had my eye on home bargains snowflake marshmallows and a few bits, but I’ve left it too late Confused. Ideally fancy marshmallows, hot chocolate bombs, that kind of thing.

CarrotVan · 23/11/2020 21:05

@Iggi999 I’ve seen things like sock subscriptions and bath bomb hampers but they all seem to be £4 Confused

JoHo123 · 23/11/2020 21:08

@sugarplumfairy2010 Another vote for the IKEA high chair here. We’ve had three different high chairs and I wish I’d bought this in the first place. So, so easy to clean and the insert cover is easy to take off and wash.

We also have a (not very bargainous) Phil and Ted’s Lobster. Clips on to the table and is great for all the picnics we are still having (thanks lockdown!) but it doesn’t go on to every single table and it’s a bugger to clean.

tootsnwoocake · 23/11/2020 21:16

50% off everything including sale at GAP*

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 23/11/2020 21:19

@ClosedAuraOpenMind

i've got a 15% off code for The Entertainer, if it helps anyone they seem to think I've not bought anything this Christmas despite £120 of LOL tat being delivered to my door this afternoon 🤣 it's single use so will go to the first person to PM me
code has now gone
buckeejit · 23/11/2020 21:19

The cheap Ikea high chair defo, it's the best-you'll probably find one on eBay etc if you don't want to go to Ikea

SpamIAm · 23/11/2020 21:27

Thanks to whoever it was (can't remember sorry!) who posted the Kraft tape - mine arrived today and works so much better on the brown paper than sellotape.

cataline · 23/11/2020 21:28

Thanks to everyone on the last thread who recommended various places to get a tuff tray! I ended up getting one from B&Q.

Serin · 23/11/2020 21:35

Millets have a great sale on backpacks.
The North Face ones have at least 40%off.

TheCrow · 23/11/2020 21:35

@TheLastStarfighter when you say you've left it too late do you mean they're all gone or you can't get to a home bargains?

Givealittlebit · 23/11/2020 21:46

@TheLastStarfighter Lidl had some fancy looking boxed marshmallows yesterday. Salted caramel and mint and dark choc chip!

SingaporeSlinky · 23/11/2020 21:46

Thanks for the tie dye bargain, got one for my niece. Now where’s the best place to get a multipack of plain white t-shirts? And should I get other stuff as well, or just some short sleeved ones to start her off?

runningpink · 23/11/2020 21:48

@sugarplumfairy2010 also agree with the Ikea high chair. Easy to wipe down, minimal space required and for a deep clean you can stick the seat in the dishwasher.

cataline · 23/11/2020 21:55

Does anyone have a Lakeland code please?

I have about £150 worth of lovely things in my basket so a saving would be much appreciated!

Also, Sainsbury's still have 3for2 on their wrap and cards with reductions on it all plus reductions on their decorations.

CarrotVan · 23/11/2020 21:56

@SingaporeSlinky the cheap pe t-shirts from Asda are good for tie dye

CarrotVan · 23/11/2020 21:58

Like these ones

IggyAce · 23/11/2020 21:58

@SingaporeSlinky check Asda and Tesco school uniform for plain white pe t-shirts they are usually a 2 pack for £3-£4.
