Is anyone else's Christmas not "ruined"?

Constantly reading about how Christmas will be awful due to restrictions on travel and numbers.

A few years ago, we started having Christmas alone at home, just me and the two kids. We take it easy, have a Christmas dinner and stay in pyjamas and just chill out. Its much more manageable for of us (additional needs).
In terms of activities leading up to Christmas, the main thing we do is go out looking at people's light displays, drink hot chocolate, watch movies etc.

But according to most people, our Christmas is awful and unimaginable to them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My Xmas will be as my mum died and won't be there.
Apart from that, everything else will be the same as we don't often see family on Xmas day itself.

We will be doing exactly what we always do on the day. Going for an amazing meal at my mam's. She lives a couple of miles away so no travel involved apart from a walk. Brother and sister in law will come too. Then home about 6ish for chilled time at home.

We usually do a few Christmas activities though so they will have to be different in the run up.

I will miss all the school stuff to be honest. I'm on the pta and I like running events and seeing the kids enjoying it. Least they can still do things at school with their friends.

Mine isn't ruined either. I prefer low key as I don't enjoy parties, pub etc. I will see my parents and brother who live in the same house regardless of the rules at the time. I will self isolate 2 weeks before hand to be safe for them on Christmas Day. I'll have a lovely Christmas this year!

Farming family here, our Christmas will be exactly the same as it is every year. Animals don't care that it's Christmas and neither do they care about Covid x

Ours will be exactly the same. My MIL passed away 2 years ago and my family live far, mum in a care home and dad in a small flat 350 miles away. So it's always just the 4 of us anyway. I'll miss things like the school concert and Santa visit etc but the day it's self will be the same. We tend to see family in the summer instead but this year we only got to see brother and sister in law and that was it.
