We made it to December!

Morning
Had my traditional 1st Dec phone call with my dad and sister & Christmas music - this year was Mistletoe and wine (my favourite).

Nothing Christmassy has made its way into our house yet except in my office (a Christmas bear, Eey Ore, my ceramic tree, some crocheted Christmas light bunting and I'm adding some snowman lights today).
I am wearing my new festive socks and Christmas tree earring though

Work today and Ive had 4 hours broken sleep. Already looking forward to logging off later!

Crazy, I snapped at DH at 3 this morning. We'd both woken and I was just nodding off again when he stroked my leg. I bollocked him for waking me up! I was then awake for an hour. Sigh.

There is The Snowman&The Snowdog loo-paper in our bathroom and downstairs loo.
I bought some M&S loo roll too which has a reindeer,snowman and penguin design .Not as nice as the Snowman but perfect for ArseWipeability

I've got a tea advent calendar and I'm having my first festive Christmas cup.

Dc Christmas cups will be brought later too.

Bath mat and toilet seat cover went in last night.

I've only got four rolls of snowman loo roll so it'll have to wait until nearer the time!

DH rolled his eyes when he saw I'd got 4 rolls of (the tasteful gold design not the Snowman version) M&S festive loo roll last week - I'm also keeping those precious few rolls for nearer the time. (He actually said DD would laugh at me when she saw it, and was chagrined when I said she was beside me when I chose it and had no views on the matter - I didn't tell him that she wanted me to just to "hurry up and pick so we can go home"...she gets cranky when all of her shopping is in the trolley and we're taking too long to get to a checkout....).

I have 16 rolls! 😂🤣

I didn't see tasteful gold looroll but M&S usually do silver star pattern.

DD and I are braving the shops this weekend so I'll add to list .

M&S had a limit on 2 packs of looroll in our local one

I can’t list a picture because I have to wade through this....
to get into the wardrobe where it’s currently stashed. (That’s a mix of Christmas, crafting, Cubs and work all jumbled together. It’s not normally soooo bad but a bit chaotic just recently, oops) 😳

Oh how mean of you to bollock your DH Fluffy because I absolutely did not poke mine hard in the ribs last night when he tried to cwtch me and I was boiling, oh no 😂

No Christmas toilet paper here either. If I go shopping I'll get some but DH has been doing our shopping each week.

Wow Biddy that pic looks a lot like my spare room did before it had to become my office!

I managed to get my wardtobe space back - DS and DD pjs, DD bathrobe , her socks Advent (12 pairs of socks in a box) and their chocolate bars ......... all in their Dec 1st bags .

I now need to get DS to weed out his unsavoury clothes so I can replace them.

Morning.
Been up ages. Came down early to make a , put the hall lamp on (it was before the timer turned it on) and the the bulb blew so ended up faffing with a box of bulbs in the garage to get a replacement. I need to buy some more, but bulbs are soooo expensive now and that lamp goes through at least 5 or 6 a year. It's probably going to be cheaper to buy a new lamp🤷🏻‍♀️

I find Tesco cheapest for bulbs, Homebase etc are extortionate.

I'm still in bed but getting up in a minute. I'm in the office today.

Biddy - my spare room looks v similar - it is also near the front for so perfect for stashing presents quickly!
Boots - I usually get my bulbs from Wilko because they are a bit cheaper.
No Christmas loo roll here but will look for it next time I am in an actual shop. One year I managed to find Christmas washing up liquid and washing up gloves.
Now to have coffee in my lovely Emma Bridgewater Christmas mug! Have a lovely days.

Wilko for bulbs here too, Constantly. I need to go and buy more bird food from there actually. They do a robin food which they love! I'll go on Saturday as we're going to do a nutcracker trail in town and look at the tree.

My cold is refusing to fully bog off. I'm still congested with a sore throat. You'd think my vitamins would help me fight it off, but nope. Annoying.

My bookmark speed stitching is coming on. I should finish the last monster and edging tomorrow, then it's backstitch and onto number 2!

Another meltdown from dd. Mainly because dh said 'is she getting in the shower now? She hasn't even had breakfast yet' er yes she needs to have a shower and she's stressed enough (totm) without him moaning about getting in the bathroom. After he said that she stormed out of the bathroom in tears and got back into bed 🤯 I would give anything for a second bathroom.

Spent 5 minutes looking for my gloves (without success), then missed my train by about 2 minutes. At least it's not as cold as I thought it would be!

It's so cold here me and dc are laying in my bed still watching the iPad. I wish I had set the timer for the heating to come on.

Great news about the vaccine being approved. Here they're doing health care workers first so Dh should get it in the next few weeks.

Morning. Really struggled to get to sleep last night despite being exhausted so o have another tired day today.

puss any idea why your lamp goes through so many lamps? I can't remember the last time I had to change a bulb so def not normal to go through so many.
I would probably look to replace the lamp tbh.

Wreck that sounds like a dramatic morning! Hormones are a nightmare aren't they? Hope she's feeling ok now.

Thoroughly enjoyed my cuppa in my Christmas mug this morning

I should finish work at 4:30 today. I'll need someone to give me a kick up the arse to get crocheting this evening - yesterday I sat with the yarn on my lap while I messed about on my phone and only ended up managing a few rows 🙄

Crazy I'll kick you up the bum if you do the same for me. I need to crack on with DD1's socks and I keep thinking I'll get to a certain point by the time I go to bed and then I'm disappointed in myself because I spend the evening playing games on my phone instead.

I had a few weeks where I did bugger all, stitching-wise. It's because I wasn't happy with the colours on the cross stitch of the kids. I've now had it re-patterned, so will do it in the new year!

I'm doing my mouse cross stitch when the kids are awake and their bookmarks once they're in bed!
