Happy final Rudolph day 2020. I don't know about the rest of you but 2021 can only be better.

I'd have bought from Amazon, Wreck. The reviews about the non-UK ones refer to a different seller, fulfilled by Amazon. The ones for sale now are sold and fulfilled by Amazon, so not the dodgy ones.

I'm happy to pay an extra £10 for peace of mind.

Just picked up ds' balloons in my lunch break town was really quiet.

Amazon's customer service is really good though.

I am making lists , hoping to scoot into town on Friday to pick up a couple of things ( essential things then the Christmas Shopping finished next weekend ..

I looked on the M&S website , all the wimmins' knickers I like asre out of stock online . Might be instore though

We're having a right old time of it at the moment...

We are hoping to exchange on our house this time next week and move before 11th December. In a perfect world we'd be moving in tomorrow...but we're not so I'm grumpy.

DH is still hobbling around after his recent surgery, He still can't drive and isn't particularly comfortable being a passenger so is going a bit stir crazy.

DD has been sent home from school as she's got a rash (nothing to worry about according to the pharmacist)

Bloody car cut out on me yesterday so its been in the garage today so hopefully its not going to be too £££

I went for a walk on Monday after I posted, started feeling dizzy and ended calling an ambulance when I got home because I was walking like I was drunk, my eyes were flicking all over the place to the point where the room was spinning and I couldn't keep them open, and I was chucking up everywhere. I was terrified it was a complication from the c section and I was dying

The paramedics diagnosed labyrinthitis, which is an infection in the inner ear caused by a virus, so basically my body massively overreacted to having a mild cold where my only symptom was deafness in one ear I spent yesterday in bed with DH doing all the carrying/changing for DD, and have spent today on the sofa listening to audio books and trying not to turn my head too fast!

Means I have had to put tidying for the Christmas decorations on hold Fingers crossed I'm feeling better tomorrow!

Oh no, Firefly. How scary. I'm glad you're - comparatively - OK and it's nothing sinister (just nasty).

Oh poor you Fire! That sounds miserable, I know of people who suffer with labrynthitis but it's never been as bad as what you've experienced. I suppose having just had a baby means your body is being a bit crazy. I hope you recover quickly.

Evening everyone. Started wrapping today for family that we have to post the presents to. My daughter got her test back and thankfully tested negative. Phew. Happy Rudolph Day to all, hoping against hope that next year will be a better one for all of us.

Firefly I had that years ago, but no where near as bad as you, and it was horrible. Going down the stairs were tricky for a while afterwards. Take it easy and don't push yourself.

Firefly that sounds scary. So glad it’s nothing too awful - rest up and feel better soon.
Also, if it makes you feel better, I had a migraine once that meant I was squinting with one eye, had pins and needles down one side of my face and couldn’t respond to DH when he asked if I was ok. He thought I’d had a stroke so called an ambulance. Paramedics and dr’s were amazing but still - embarrassing

I am crocheting - I’m not in the mood at all but I’m behind and Christmas is fast approaching!!
I’m also a bit worried about my Matalan order. They haven’t taken the money yet and online it says my order is ‘processing’ but the brown wrapping paper I ordered was delivered today 🤷‍♀️ and looking at comments on their fb page it seems lots of people are complaining about lost orders / missing items / delays on refunds.

Morning!

This cold can do one now! Yesterday I was minding my own business, eating an apple, when I sneezed. Did I sneeze once? Did I buggery...7 times in a row. With a mouthful of apple. Sigh. I've never sneezed that many times at once before!

And now a question: the cough you get as your cold is leaving (or I always do). It's a new cough, but it's from the cold. Are you meant to get a Covid test?

The mice are coming along now, too. I need to get it done and then rattle a Christmas one off!

Yes it is and we're all ready on time despite him being really slow at opening presents I've even tidied and emptied the dishwasher because dh didn't do it

Yup, thanksgiving 🦃 tonight - DH has already told me that he’s “not a Cub” when I was trying to talk about the pilgrims and later treatment of Indians who had originally helped them. I may have been “Cubsplaining” (it’s actually quite similar to mansplaining - which he is never guilty of 🤣).
DH was grumpy though as he overslept (very rare) so refreshed but rushed. Having fed and watered them both and done DD’s hair, I am about to get dressed (I normally do that first but today...)

Shockingly rubbish nights sleep here. Not sure what happened but I woke every 2 hours ish. Think it's possibly hormones - not sure what's going on with my body right now but it's all over the shop and annoying me.

I am absolutely finishing work early today. I've been meaning to every day for the last week but haven't managed it but I have a relatively clear day at the mo so aiming for a 4pm finish at the latest

Fluffy we got DS tested both times when he had a cough which we were 99% sure was due to a cold. It was as much about us knowing if we were exposed, was it in the school/village?

Morning everyone cold and frosty here. Oh lachy what a palaver hopefully everything will start to go smoothly now. Firefly that sounds horrendous, I have had illnesses that make me feel dizzy on occasion but that is very extreme.

I would not bother with a test Fluffy, it is a cold nothing else.

Apparently sneezing absolutely isn't a symptom. So as I already know, as I've had a cold before! it's definitely a cold!

Our systems are down. I've too much to do for this!

Morning everyone. Nice and dry here, trees are hardly moving. Had a better sleep last night thankfully. Trying to get organised this morning, Zoom meeting this afternoon with school.
