Tesco Delivery Pass Xmas slots reminder

If you have a delivery pass with Tesco, you'll be able to book a Xmas slot tomorrow (13th) at 7am

You can only book one slot for the week starting 21st December and there's a 95 item limit.

I think non-delivery pass holders get to book on the 20th but check your emails from Tesco

So I thought I'd got my delivery, had paid for it, payment confirmed screen etc and this morning I just happen to notice and email saying "sorry you couldn't check-out your order, try again today". Or words to that effect. Check my bank and the app, no order and no money taken. WTAF.

Anyone else? I wouldn't have realised if I hadn't have been browsing my email this morning. Sorry if this has been discussed already, haven't RTFT past the first hours-worth.

Did you get an email confirming your order after you placed it, Tesco always send a confirmation email but don’t take payment until delivery day though sometimes you may see something on your bank account with 0.00 on from where they check your card

@WhentheDealGoesDown actually sometimes Tesco don’t send me confirmation emails. I don’t rely on them. Loads of orders recently have not given me confirmation emails so I check my order in my Tesco account.

@ImAncient I do the same as you. I do my MIL’s shopping on my account usin my delivery pass. Means we are going to share a Christmas week slot but it makes it easier for me to sort her groceries. Usually I do one delivery to our house, one to hers every week. But not two to the same address.

Ah yes that makes sense about the money. I've no idea if I usually get confirmation emails Confused I just check the app normally.

Dont apologise, it was a good reminder Smile I just wondered if anyone knew if they delivered on the 31st or not. They don't deliver on Christmas eve here but I know they do elsewhere

Yes. The christmas week slots I think go available to customers without delivery saver tomorrow at 7am, I'm not sure about the new years week.

I set my alarm for 6:50- was prepared to be on for hours and then not get a slot. Got through at 7.08 and got a slot for 22nd! Phew!

Q for those who struggled to checkout last week and had to do it several times and sync with their calendar. Tesco seemed to put the slot in my calendar about 6 times, I can delete them but then everytime I go into the Tesco app it re-instates the extra 6 slots (all at the same time). This only happens for my Xmas slot when I had to try multiple times to checkout.

Anyone else got the same, and if so have you come up with a solution?? My calendar is currently showing 20 identical slots on 22nd Grin Grin
