If you have a delivery pass with Tesco, you'll be able to book a Xmas slot tomorrow (13th) at 7am

You can only book one slot for the week starting 21st December and there's a 95 item limit.

I think non-delivery pass holders get to book on the 20th but check your emails from Tesco

I logged in and joined a queue, this was about 15 minutes ago, a few minutes later got through and booked a slot (basket full of chocolate so must remember to amend) and checked out. Weird! Maybe it’s an area by area issue?

I finally got a slot – yay! It was on the browser I logged into last of the 3 places I was logged in (phone, Chrome and Safari). Seems to echo what others have said upthread – just keep opening different browsers and the most recent one seems to work.

I gave up on the app after two hours but got in through the browser after about 20mins. No regular slots after 11 Dec, but got a priority one for 22nd. DH is shielding & we don't mind an 8 hour slot as we aren't going anywhere but I do object to paying the same for a priority slot of 8 hours as a one hour slot.

Still in a queue on my phone (since 6.45) but got through within 10 minutes on a computer browser.
No slots left though so that's 3 hours I'm not getting back.

I’ve been on website and app since 6. Got put into queue at 6.45 and still haven’t got through. Ridiculous.
DD accidentally turned WiFi off after 2.5 hrs. Could have killed her. My data should have kicked in on my phone though.

I need to move on with my life but I’ve invested so much. Doesn’t sound likely that we will get anything now though.

I managed to get through on my iPad first , but checking out was awful . That was after an hour. Just went on my laptop to book other December slots and I've got through straight away and booked what I needed easily. It must be luck of the draw. So frustrating.

Mind you I've got a delivery coming tomorrow and now can't get onto the site to actually add anything 🙄

Forgot about it, alarm went off 15 minutes early this morning and I puzzled about why Confused. Only when the Tesco van drove past me on the school run I remembered. Into queue at 0910 shopping done and dusted for the night of the 22nd by 0920. On a computer browser.

I've just wasted my time on the phone to Tesco customer services who had the gall to say I just need to be patient after I've been trying since 5.30am. They're not able to explain the queuing system nor the fact that some people are getting on quite quickly and others like me are still waiting. They have confirmed it's an area by area and size of store thing. I don't think I've got a chance now to be honest and also don't understand why if I've been here since 5.30am what time did people start queing that have got a slot at my store because surely I should have a slot by now? Rant over!

I managed to get in via the app about 8.20am and booked for the 23rd but had to chose flexi as normal slots said no availability. The website never loaded, still for it going now and it isn't in

Weirdly Dh managed to get a slot for 23rd from his phone, my app still waiting!

Anyway just saw a message on Tesco website they are having technical issues, so hopefully there will be slots available for those that can’t get on.

I finally got a slot on the 23rd!
It seems the priority slots (if vulnerable) are open today, but there doesn't seem to be a time specific to those, which is poor.
I think the slots for those not holding delivery passes are being released on the 20th November.

I queued on my phone from 6.45, opened up the laptop after reading what people said on here and got through on my laptop within 10 mins, wish I hadn't wasted nearly 3 hours of my life waiting for my phone... but relieved I got there in the end! I was not willing to admit defeat!

There were no delivery slots later than the 20th but plenty of click and collect slots available so I've got one for the 23rd which I'm happy with

I am in the same situation! All I have in my basket is bananas. I'm hoping this afternoon it will be quieter so I can do the shopping for tomorrow then. I can't face another 1.5 hour queue.

Finally got mine just before 10am having switched devices.

Got Monday morning, which is what I wanted. Had to book a 4 hour slot though.

Also got my usual weekly Tuesday 9-10am slot on the 15th.

The queue didn't work on my mobile though. Only got in after switching to a laptop. Its tricky as their queuing page doesn't give any indication if it's actually working.

I was very lucky and got in the queue at 6:50 and was booked by 7:05. Others I know were still waiting at gone 9. No rhyme or reason!

I logged on at 6:55 and was on by 7:02... only for my app to crash as my payment details were processing and it took 90 minutes to get back on Sad

Can't believe people are still waiting Angry I went on at 6:30am and it was just the normal website with no Christmas slots available. Feral 1 year old then had a mad few minutes of tipping over the cat's water bowl and emptying the bin and by the time I got back to my phone at 6:50 I was in a queue. Had absolutely no luck on my phone but started queuing on the tablet too and got in at just gone 8. Managed to get a flexi slot for the 23rd which was what I was after so very relieved.

If Tesco are going to set up a queuing system then fair enough but it needs to be an actual queue, ie first in the queue, first to get to the website. I 'jumped' the queue ahead of myself just by using a different device which is completely illogical. Feel for everybody who has been more than patient and hasn't been able to secure a slot. None of the other supermarkets seem to have had such a nightmare, sort it out Tesco.

After initially getting a slot on the 22nd at 7.05 this morning before being kicked out prior to being able to check out. I’ve just managed to get back in to find my slot has expired and only thing left was a flexi slot on the 20th. Great! Thanks Tesco. Angry
