Tesco Delivery Pass Xmas slots reminder

If you have a delivery pass with Tesco, you'll be able to book a Xmas slot tomorrow (13th) at 7am

You can only book one slot for the week starting 21st December and there's a 95 item limit.

I think non-delivery pass holders get to book on the 20th but check your emails from Tesco

I managed to get a flexi slot for the 21st which is better than nothing. Does anyone know when the New Year slots come out?

But I got one on 23rd! Could have had 24th but thought if there's subs or none arrivals then that gives me time to reevaluate and dash out if I need to.

Got in on the app first but was only showing slots to 10th December for me (I do have delivery saver)

When I got in on the website (after 3 hours wait!) latest slot was Monday 21st so have booked that (and Friday 18th, Sunday 13th!)

Done. Thank god for that. Took a ridiculous amount of time on the queue though. Good luck for anyone still waiting. Hope it hurries the fuck up for you.

Forgot about it until ten mins ago...just logged on and got straight in, shows no slots available 20-24 Dec, who knows whether that’s real or a technical issue! Have booked one for the 19th. We’ve ordered a hamper with everything for Christmas Day from local pub - literally everything from Prosecco and smoked salmon for breakfast to full turkey dinner and cheeseboard for later!

I finally got in at 10 by opening the app on a different device. No slots available for delivery after the Monday but got click and collect on 23rd so happy with that. Regret wasting 3.5 hrs on it though as the queuing clearly doesn’t work and it’s random. They might as well just have lottery for slots.

Oh and on booking in advance - I have six orders booked in now for the next six Mondays (plus Saturday before Christmas). I can normally do four without any problems. Doesn’t show as an option on the order homepage on the app, but I go in to the calendar icon on the homepage and the option appears.

I logged back on at 10am and got in via the website on my phone even tho 2 mins before I was on it on a computer and in a queue!
No slots available later on just the 19th. Ive booked that for drinks and cleaning stuff and will do all the fresh stuff at Aldi.
I'm also going to complain as it doesnt seem right that you can be in a queue since 6.50am and still not get a slot.

I so wish I had seen this last night. I was up at the crack of dawn (actually...earlier as it was pitch black) with my toddler but hadn't remembered Tesco. I have one now days before.

I left my chrome browser on, just out of curiosity, after I managed to get in on my phone after 2hours+.

It let me in at 1032 (almost four hours after I connected) and the slots were gone by then. Lucky I tried on my phone too.

I logged on at 6.50am, got a slot by 7.05 and checked out by about 7.10am. A few glitches at payment stage but other than that, very straightforward!

Just a reminder those these slots opened for delivery plus customers but more slots open to the general public next week so you might be able to get one then

Why are people allowed to book more than one slot within the window? Surely that’s unfair and just greedy?

You are only allowed to book one slot for the Christmas week but all the weeks prior now show up as well.

@Lollypig you can’t book more than one slot in the period ( a few days ) you can book for the week before . I always have a Tesco delivery on Wednesday and I’ve now booked all my slots until Dec 23rd .

Wasted 2 hours queuing, gave up and came back to it just now. Nearest I could get was 21st so not ideal, not terrible - just not the best for fresh veg as I find Tesco veg isn't the freshest on normal deliveries anyway. So either Xmas dinner will be frozen veg which I hate, or sadly wilted sprouts and carrots! Or no veg at all which will suit the kids just fine

Agree with PP. I am always booked four weeks in advance, now it is 6. That's just being organized.

Anyone got any idea when the post-Christmas slots will be open?

Thanks for that. I've got six booked now. Five Fridays and then Tues 22nd. Xmas Eve and 23rd were all booked out by 10 past 7 this morning.

A few people on Twitter have seemingly booked 2/3 slots over the window. There was a big row earlier.

@Lollypig well unless they have multiple accounts and pay delivery saver for all of them I can’t see how they’ve managed that .

For those of you who can only book two slots - I use the app and used to think the same but if you click the square calendar icon in the top right corner it brings up the slot booking page. I've now got five slots booked up. See if it works for you, fingers crossed it will as the slots are booking up very quickly.

Just wanted to say thank you for this which a) is mildly life-changingly useful and b) makes me feel like a complete idiot for not realising this earlier!
