Tesco Delivery Pass Xmas slots reminder

If you have a delivery pass with Tesco, you'll be able to book a Xmas slot tomorrow (13th) at 7am

You can only book one slot for the week starting 21st December and there's a 95 item limit.

I think non-delivery pass holders get to book on the 20th but check your emails from Tesco

It makes no sense. On the website I was waiting for two hours. So I tried what others did and tried the app on my phone - still no joy. My husband brought me coffee and my iPad to try, abs I got a slot abs checked out for an hour slot on 22nd while my coffee was still hot!! But laptop and were still in queue (not now, obviously). So how did I manage to jump in front of myself (and others)?? What queue?? Good luck everyone. 🤞🎄
I spent ages queuing on the app then remembered that last year I had more success on the website. Switched on the laptop and had booked a C&C slot within 10 mins! App continued to queue... Hmm

My husband has been on from before 7. I've been trying intermittently but the browser kept logging me out repeatedly.

Somehow I've just got a slot on 23rd. Belfast here

Just managed to get a slot for 23rd after logging on at 6.50. I was about to give up.

My most recently connected device is through in less than 10 minutes. It's showing slots available for the 23rd but not actually letting me select them! Argh!

P.S. Try to check both options for C&C and Delivery - in my area there are zero collection slots for that week left, but plenty of delivery for Tues and (flexi slot) Weds.

@JamSarnie, you might be right. One has just come available for the 23rd which is what I wanted from the beginning so I am now done (other than actually choosing what I want to buy but that can wait a week or two).

I don’t like ordering for the 24th because that leaves no time for getting missing items elsewhere or even worse having the whole delivery cancelled. That’s just as well as those slots are long gone.

Managed to get 21st which is what I wanted. Took an hour and 20 minutes and all times were available in my area when they came through.

Finally got a slot for 21st to allow a few days to do a top up of not everything comes. Took me over 2hours but my Mum waited less than an hour having joined the queue long after me.

Had to try and check out six times before it went through.

Thanks so much OP, I'd forgotten, just went in and queued for less than 10 mins and got 23rd so I'm very happy! I'm imagine though there might well be a ton on substitutes so will try and get essentials in the week before.

The slots released today are just for delivery pass customers, I believe.
I’m such a muppet. Been keeping my phone awake for 2 hours while getting 2 kids ready for school, 2 schools runs and a shower. All for fecking nothing cause I have no pass!! Blush

I went onto the app at 8 queued until about 8:15 and got a slot for the 23rd ( Wednesday my usual day for delivery) at 7-8 pm . Do they hold back slots for non delivery pass holders ?

I don't know if there are additional ones hazey but for me there were still priority slots on the 23rd even when I only started queueing at 9, none on the 24th but plenty on the days before that.

Finally managed to get a click & collect for the 23rd after 2.5hrs of waiting on my phone, about 45 minutes on both the laptop & DH's phone & 10 minutes on the iPad. Neither phone has managed to connect & the laptop only got through as I was about to close it. Ridiculous system. I think we'll just switch to Asda in the future.

I’m still in the queue on the browser after getting in the app before 9.

Bear in mind I didn’t even download the app until nearly 08.00 after having no joy in the browser queue.
