Anyone else waiting to hear? Completely see the point of wanting to reduce footfall but will be pretty disappointed if we can't use the scheme this year. This year is getting on my nerves now!

My App is just saying ‘it’s nearly time’. I thought we could convert the app from today?

@MiniMileyMoo, that's what I tested with my postal voucher after maxing DH out. We're linked cards to one account. You can both max out!

@HintOfVintagePink, is your app as up-to-date as possible? I'd uninstall and reinstall.

I'd love to use this, but get regular online deliveries normally and feel going to the store to buy a 'free' kettle during lockdown is so wrong in principle. Darn you, Sainsbury's.

I'm using it anyway, @Mousepad20. I'd need to do a small top up shop this week, so it may as well be there. I'm not increasing my shopping trips, just changing where I'm going.

Yes, it's including that day.

Can I tell you the way that's worked best for me? Bitter experience Go to store ideally on the day the scheme starts (today in this case). Make sure you get what you want, in your trolley, BEFORE you convert any vouchers. I use the app. Last year I strolled in to Sainsbos, not on the day, having already cashed the vouchers. Couldn't get what I wanted (is it just me that thinks there is a set amount of TTD wine and port goes out, and not replenished?) and then had to use my vouchers. Ended up with a top I didn't want, that fits where it touches. Ok, the last bit isn't Sainsbos fault :)

Just used mine. 7 bottles of wine for £60. Store was dead.

Ah been waiting for this for ages and woke up with a temp and have to self isolate hopefully test is neg so I'll get a chance later this week 🤞

Just used mine. £50 of nectar points changed into a voucher for £100 and spent it on Taste the Difference wines and champagne. That's lots of Christmas presents sorted!

Went at lunch it was really quiet. £40 of vouchers exchanged for wine and The Danger Gang book for my son. Our Sainsburys isn't massive but they have quite a few 'bestselling' adult and children's books. Ickabog also in there for £12.

I converted an extra £20 in store, so can still convert £25 if I want. I got:

Kettle
Iron
Tights
Socks
Wellies
6 x bottles of wine
Printer ink

I'm pleased with my haul and may go back for more booze.

Our store was quite busy, particularly the wine aisle! The bottles were being replenished quickly though. I got 7 bottles of wine and some new PE kit for eldest DS. Very happy!

I've never seen wine stock problems during Double Up, it has to be said.

I popped in today, everything well stocked and a lot of taste the diff wine/fizz is reduced

With the app, do you have to convert in one go? Or could I convert some today and go back and convert more another day?
