I still have no idea if that’s a typo, euphemism or actual shop
@XFPW 😬

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For anyone with Vodafone, I've just won a £20 Amazon voucher with their Very Me rewards. Worth a try.

XFPW · 03/11/2020 11:17

Anyone able to recommend somewhere which does personalised clothes at a bargainous price? I was thinking of t-shirts, or maybe sweatshirts/hoodies. I need two - f or girls aged 10. They are kind of a joke gift, so I don’t want to spend a fortune, but at the same time I don’t want them to be so crap quality that they never actually wear them and they sit in a drawer unused because that’s an even bigger waste of money.

Mumto3thatsme · 03/11/2020 11:52

@PinkDaydreams you don’t get to choose the leggings, they’re randomly selected

Serg · 03/11/2020 12:12

I messed the advent calendars, they were in my basked but I didn’t check out on time...does anyone know best places for prices on these please?

I didn't win anything. DH won a fiver!

In my experience Fenwicks cancel more orders than they deliver. Their stock controls very poor. So you possibly wouldn't have got them anyway.
I8toys · 03/11/2020 12:27

Yey my gin and prosecco have arrived - now whether to keep for me or give them to someone else?????

SpamIAm · 03/11/2020 12:28

I still don't get that M&S hamper being £40 full price. Why would you pay £12 for nuts?

NoWordForFluffy · 03/11/2020 12:30

Why would you pay £12 for nuts?

You'd have to be nuts to do that!

Maybe they're trying to recoup their losses from the £18 failure!

Scout2016 · 03/11/2020 12:40

For Sullivan Family fans, the cheapest companies I have found are Jac In A Box (free postage I think)

jacinabox.co.uk/brands/Sylvanian-Families.html

And Toy Street www.toystreet.co.uk/shop/next-day-delivery/sylvanian-families-country-tree-school-gift-set-limited-edition/?gclid=CjwKCAiAnIT9BRAmEiwANaoE1eEMK5VmPpBFXQYHA-s1-8GYlc8KelycrM6y34oTggSABFADW5yVlRoCkiEQAvD_BwE

Who I was weary of using as no photo on the product I wanted (school gift set, bread and 3 figures included for £32.99) but it's come and looks to be legit.

Shitfuckoh · 03/11/2020 12:58

Don't suppose anyone has a matalan code do they? I never seem to get sent them & really dislike paying full price for things lol

TidyOmlette · 03/11/2020 13:12

My M&S order just arrived. Absolutely perfect. Thanks again @hoopdeloop

Birdladybird · 03/11/2020 13:13

Pandora have announced black friday sales every friday in november. Up to 35% off.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 03/11/2020 13:14

I haven't been able to make that Amazon kids wish list thing work - are there exclusions? I definitely added something from the kids wish list page...

CoffeeAndEnnui · 03/11/2020 13:16

Not a bargain as such but rather a nice thing for the Star Trek obsessives in your life. Star Trek stamps in special edition packs are now available to preorder! There's a mixed pack and some show/character-specific ones too.

You can still get the limited edition Sherlock/Moriarty set too along with various movie favourites like Bond, Harry Potter, Marvel etc. Bit random but kind of cool for superfans!

Framing single stamps in those mini box frames that Ikea and the like do so cheaply could be a nice quirky way to make a bargainous pressie.

It's a snow globe gin, a bottle of Prosecco (RRP £10) and the nuts.
selina25 · 03/11/2020 13:18

qwertee have a large range of tshirts for £6, 24hr deal countdown

CoffeeAndEnnui · 03/11/2020 13:22

You can also have the First Day Cover personalised with a name and address. It has all six of the Star Trek movie stamps and is only £6.15.

This has just helped me out with two super tricky recipients so, hopefully, it will be useful for others too!

deemeff · 03/11/2020 13:40

Yes but the gin is £18 and the Prosecco £10. The hamper now costs £40 So the nuts are £12.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 03/11/2020 13:48

I don’t drink gin and nor does anyone else I know so didn’t buy the M&S deal when it was posted here. Even though I had a look and thought wow that bottle is gorgeous and I really want it. But I stayed strong and resisted.

Now I’m reading all of your posts and am a very sad sheep, I want some!!! So gutted I missed out on such a great deal- even though I can’t stand gin Grin

Xboxhelp1 · 03/11/2020 13:54

I’m not sure if this will help anyone out but my dh has pre ordered a new Xbox series S but no longer wants to get it. Game have said he can just not collect it and he’ll be refunded but I remember how shit it is trying to get things out of stock for the dc’s.
If anyone is desperately trying to get one we don’t mind collecting it then arranging collection/postage

My DD’s love qwertee, I bought loads last year in a similar deal and they are still wearing them now.
sorryiasked · 03/11/2020 14:02

Can't remember who wanted book and toy gift sets but Amazon have some for £6/7 - snail & the whale, sugarlump & the unicorn, dear zoo, hungry Caterpillar etc

ZIGGY911 · 03/11/2020 14:08

I have 2 presents to finish off and both are gift cards - one tkmax one for JD.

Do you think gift cards are too risky, really don't want to give cash or ideally wait until after lockdown.
