I still have no idea if that’s a typo, euphemism or actual shop
@XFPW 😬

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

I've pm'd you @Notlongnow1 but I also have a link on the referral thread.

[quote FireflyGirl]@Fuckingfuckssake if you just clicked on nymph's link, it'll be Mumsnet - (copied from Reastie's post):

Apologies, I just don't usually notice when I click on another users link. As you were.

duckduckswan · 02/11/2020 09:55

A while back there was mention of a heated gilet. Don’t suppose anyone knows if that deal is still on?

Notlongnow1 · 02/11/2020 09:57

Perfect thanks!

SkintSanta · 02/11/2020 10:06

Has anybody’s missing perfume turned up from the penhaligons giftset? My initial package has just turned up today sans the other half of it. Do I need to email them?

Newnamedillydally · 02/11/2020 10:08

That Elemis set looks a lovely present to my mum. Would anyone kindly pm me a referral code? I would be very grateful!

Have sent you one. My mum loves the look of it too!
Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 02/11/2020 10:30

@NoWordForFluffy thank you so much for leggings code

@woodwaj
For SIL what about one of the vouchers mentioned previously for a meal out

For teachers we usually do a hamper for the staff room but may not work with Covid so what about buying white plant pots and the ceramic pens and your child could decorate the plant pot then put an amaryllis bulb in?

My go to gift for a baby is a baby Einstein musical star and a Lamaze pram toy. I think people tend to buy soft toys and clothes and I’d much prefer useful toys or books

7yr old nephew Lego?

Chippytheelf29 · 02/11/2020 10:32

Could I please ask for a qvc referral also. The Elemis set is perfect for my aunt. Thanks to the poster.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 02/11/2020 10:32

Or a science kit?

Winterfellismyhome · 02/11/2020 10:34

RE: Elemis - Does anyone have any idea of what the warm tonka scent is like? The description doesn't give much away. Is it overally vanilla?
How much £ does the referral give off?

Newnamedillydally · 02/11/2020 10:40

Thanks to everyone who sent me a referral code!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 02/11/2020 10:55

@Yeknom the warm tonka and vailla is lovely. Ive had it in hand cream before and it is lovely and deep smelling.theres definitely vanilla but its not sickly sweet or overpowering with it

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 02/11/2020 10:58

Hi all - no bargain to share (however this might save some cash) last year there was a thread in Christmas just after Christmas 2019 and it was - “things I am doing differently for Christmas” I put some things on there around not buying x, y and x and now I can’t find it!

Did anyone save it?

NoWordForFluffy · 02/11/2020 11:00

I have a £10 Boden birthday card I won't use. PM me if you'd like it.

If anyone has similar for Joules to swap, that would be good. I need wellies for DD but Boden doesn't have any suitable, annoyingly.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/11/2020 11:03

Code. Not card.

InglouriousBasterd · 02/11/2020 11:05

I would also love a referral code for QVC if possible!!

ZIGGY911 · 02/11/2020 11:05

I thought I'd checked out from Mataram on Friday night but hadn't. Does anyone have a discount code available as I have a basket for £25 I'm sure there were a few around. Thank you

NoWordForFluffy · 02/11/2020 11:10

Boden code gone!

Goldistheanswer · 02/11/2020 11:15

Does anyone know if you can buy gift cards but defer the start date? I need to buy some for family members but I want to delay the start date for as long as possible.

Fuckingfuckssake · 02/11/2020 11:21

Lots of referral codes for QVC on the referrals thread, and you can post your own afterwards.

Brashopper · 02/11/2020 11:28

@SkintSanta, my missing Penhaligon’s Eau de Toilette hasn’t turned up, either. Did you get a shipping notice to say when your parcel was posted?

It would be interesting if that was after the mistake was pointed out.

In my experience they are very slow to reply to emails. I had more success by ringing them (an 0800 number). They called back later in the afternoon when I left a message.

Asj0405 · 02/11/2020 11:38

@allmyarseandpeggymartin was it this one?
