please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Seems I bought my buns back in January in the Wilko sale before I knew they would be this chirstmass' must have

nicky2512 · 26/10/2020 19:36

Looking at photobox 40% off photo jigsaws.
Have never used photobox. Does anyone know if these are good quality?

Maddie2802 · 26/10/2020 19:40

Has anyone seen a kids teepee that is affordable and sturdy? And that would be suitable for a 2 year old? 😊

Famousthehero · 26/10/2020 19:54

Oh, also there's a free pumpkin at tesco on Vodafone veryme rewards

XFPW · 26/10/2020 19:55

@Maddie2802 if you have a Sostrene Grene near you, they definitely had some in at a decent price

Spam88 · 26/10/2020 19:58

@Maddie2802 I don't know what price you're hoping for but either Aldi have them atm or Lidl have them coming up soon (can't remember which one it was I saw them in!).

LikeSilver · 26/10/2020 19:59

@Maddie2802 Aldi had one in today, can’t vouch for quality but it looked pretty good.

lexloofah · 26/10/2020 20:00

@dancemom is she tall enough for a women's one? There are a few on sale at Cyberjammies with 10% off first order if they allow it against sale items or maybe try the Sainsburys sale? I got DD some lovely pjs and loungewear from there last week but wasn't looking at gowns

dancemom · 26/10/2020 20:02

Yes she's 5'3, size 8 so could do, I'll take a look thanks

ButtonMoonLoon · 26/10/2020 20:10

@NaraDeer

Does anyone have any experience with the Nespresso Lattissma? I’m looking for the easiest machine to make nice lattes, nothing that involves grinding beans or any effort really Grin
@NaraDeer

Have you seen this?
This is a lot cheaper than mine was!

Puffalicious · 26/10/2020 20:15

LikeSilver thanks for that link, just ordered the stars one! Many are just too big for DS3s room, so this might just fit the bill. Superb.

LikeSilentRaindrops · 26/10/2020 20:27

@nicky2512 I ordered two in their last sale - really impressed with how professional they looked. Do pick a high res photo, so that they look as good as possible, but I thought they were definitely worth the (sale!) price.

SkintSanta · 26/10/2020 20:27

I need beeswax food wrapping for my secret Santa outgoing gift. Something that’s eco friendly, more small eco company made than large. Any recommendations?

LikeSilentRaindrops · 26/10/2020 20:31

Can I ask for some present inspiration please?

DC3 is due on Christmas Eve Grin am trying to think of a suitable gift for him / her to give his / her sisters, 2 and 6. Was thinking about some sort of doll for my 2yo, but not sure what size / style would be appropriate - maybe Baby Annabelle, but the choice is overwhelming. Also, no idea for the 6yo; her sister ‘brought’ her a Big Sister bracelet and I haven’t got any other bright ideas for DC3 to bring.

Can anyone think of anything, preferably bargainous?!

Oh, I saw some great ones with an echo company recommended on the small businesses thread but I didn’t save the thread, worth a look - sorry, that wasn’t the most helpful post!
SkintSanta · 26/10/2020 20:37

@GazingAndGrazing thanks! I reckon I can do a good dog around for that

17caterpillars1mouse · 26/10/2020 20:51

@silentraindrops

I got my dd a Jellycat rabbit when her sister was born, is something like that an option for both. Certainly cheaper than a baby animal. Lots of animals to choose from and brilliant quality

NaraDeer · 26/10/2020 20:55

@ButtonMoonLoon I’m presuming this is fates way of telling me to treat myself, thanks very much for letting me know!

LikeSilentRaindrops · 26/10/2020 20:57

@17caterpillars1mouse that’s a lovely idea - unfortunately both DDs have a Jellycat each that they’re incredibly attached to and have been since being about a year old! So I suspect any other Jellycats would be but a poor second...

MsMiaWallace · 26/10/2020 21:03

Talking of jellycat anyone know of where you can get them cheaper?

Scanner20 · 26/10/2020 21:05

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams @ohdoriswheresthesalad that's great, thanks

TheLastStarfighter · 26/10/2020 21:06

This place is great. I’ve got a few from them. Generally about 20% cheaper than RRO and they have most in stock.

www.fleurtations.uk.com/

If you’re not after a specific one, TK Max often have them.

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 26/10/2020 21:07

Has anyone seen any good deals on FIFA21 for a PlayStation please? I’ve been keeping an eye out for DS for Xmas but haven’t seen anything yet. Thank you!

GregoryHouse · 26/10/2020 21:07

PIN25 gives you £25 off an Oodie

makingmiracles · 26/10/2020 21:09

@MsMiaWallace bit of an expert as we have tons. The answer to that is you cant very often. Best sites are fleurtations and maison and white, sometimes if you are lucky they have discounted ones in John Lewis and they often have them for lower prices in Tkmax but the more random ones like the nawal and the flamingos etc, they never seem to stock any of the bashfuls in tkmax.
