Can we have a Christmas wrapping thread?!

Just that really, inspired by posters on the bargain thread talking about craft paper and ribbon.
Has anyone started wrapping yet? If so, please can we have some pics!

Lovely wrapping so far! I haven’t started yet as I haven’t really done any of my shopping at the moment. I’m aiming to sit down during the week and make a list.
I’ve got my paper though; some godawful gaudy offerings from Costco (not retro nostalgic stuff just properly naff!) for the kids stockings and then my usual cox and cox navy with gold stars, wide copper ribbon and thinner Merry Christmas navy ribbon - it’s all quite tasteful and boring I suppose but I love it.
There will be other mismatched presents going under the tree, I don’t go with a hardcore theme, I just like some presents to be specially wrapped.

This is a one off for a friend I cant see this year.
I wanted something that would look good if she gets it out early .
It’s not like me to go understated but I do like it .
Glad it’s only the one though !

I have wrapped three presents tonight. I am having to drop my super high wrapping standards as I am finding it harder to use scissors as my Rheumatoid arthritis progresses, even though I have special scissors.

It's not as though DH or DD care about this. The gifts they wrap look like they had a fight in a stationary cupboard 😂 and I don't mind one bit. 😁

I only have four more to wrap now DD is 18 and has fewer gifts.

🤔 Actually there are five more but the bag one came in is actually nice so I might just sellotape it back up and use it as the wrapping.

@pinkksugarmouse have you tried one of the paper mouse things? You just slide it along the paper. I find it works best if the paper is half decent quality

Just be aware that those paper cutters contain a razor blade . Fiddle fingers grandson (10) sold one apart and bought the razor to me to ask what it was !

🤔 I will have a look into this. I usually do a fair bit of cutting for my Brownie meetings. Not now we are meeting on Zoom but face to face can involve some cutting.

I have a paper guillotine but this only works for certain things, wrapping paper not being one of them. I am happy to look into any aids that might help.
