Hope you don’t mind the title @IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts !

please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Looking for a happy napper sleeping bag or similar for my 7 year old but can't bring myself to pay £50.i saw a similar one in tkmaxx called frolics for £25 recently but had kids with me and now can't find one anywhere Sad

bookish83 · 21/10/2020 10:03

@Icantfindanewname

Well done!

I second the sachets or packs of tea and coffee. NHS staff either use the hospital issue awful ones or buy their own. Nice hot choc, coffee etc would go down a treat!

Anything individually packed like choc bars, graze snacks etc

I would not send anything home made in just now. Especially to the higher risk wards.

Stationary is a fab idea too!

A letter/email/ward feedback naming people if you can would go down a treat. Or some trusts love social media feedback too.

Mugs... they do go missing so often your carefully chosen mugs might end up elsewhere very quickly.

NHS (and other heath and care staff) love to hear they have helped. Xx

Ooh good spot @TheDrsDocMartens I checked the first page for an identical thread but obviously didn't look hard enough!!

recklessgran · 21/10/2020 10:10

Thanks @Lockdownlumpy that takes the 3 course meal for 2 with wine at Prezzo down to £15. [ I buy these every year as they're great stocking fillers for some of my adult DC's.]

TheGirlWhoLived · 21/10/2020 10:15

Thanks for the snapfish code, another present in the bag 💼

ScoobySnacker · 21/10/2020 10:26

Whittards have 15% off site wide for anyone looking for hamper bits and bobs

Just to let you all know the Lakeland code is gone

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 21/10/2020 10:42

@Lockdownlumpy Thank you, have used the code to book a meal for DH and I. Great price! I love the car one but it’s a bit too far for us unfortunately

For those who asked with my Claire’s Accessories order I received a dispatched email but that’s all. I was passing through town so I popped in a few days later and my orders were there. The lady did say I could have called to check they had arrived and were ready for collection though

Jfw82 · 21/10/2020 10:43

I think someone was looking for a code for the white company 15% off and free up delivery if you spend over £75 code AV660

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 21/10/2020 10:45
@4Minions2CallMyOwn I'm trying to phone the number on the order email I got from them which is - 0345 603 6088 however after being on hold for 20 minutes I've just been cut off Angry
Thank you for the number. I hope you managed to get through to them- I have emailed and will try to call as soon as I can. So frustrating

Icantfindanewname · 21/10/2020 10:57

Thanks all for the congratulations - it's a bit of an odd feeling (especially when you're sat on the ward, wired up to the latest round!) I will definitely look into all your suggestions and accompany whatever I end up with with a thank you card. I also intend emailing the chief executive - I used to work for the Trust and he always wanted to hear about staff, good or otherwise!

tinyradish · 21/10/2020 10:59

Thank you. I've also bought the buyagift prezzo 3 course meal for 2 for £15 Grin

EdmundElephantIsACleverClogs · 21/10/2020 11:10

@4Minions2CallMyOwn I haven't. I tried 4 times yesterday & when I tried this morning it told me they were busy and to call back later!
I've emailed them too. My first order was brilliant so it's just a bit of a let down but hopefully they will be in contact soon.

Thanks Reastie, quite a few are from the #ExcludedUK group who have had no support from the government. Some have already found the thread to thank people for their support.
coffeetofunction · 21/10/2020 11:17

This is very cheeky, please don't banish me from these threads, dose anyone have a £5 Hobbycraft voucher they won't be using that I could please use. Many thanks

Lockdownlumpy · 21/10/2020 11:22

I don't have a voucher for hobbycraft but I popped in yesterday and a lot of the gifts and kids craft kits are on 3for2.

whoknows1230 · 21/10/2020 11:26

Free A4 calendar from PhotoBox using code FREEA4CAL

It expires at midnight on Monday and you have to pay delivery

lexloofah · 21/10/2020 11:31

I realised that as half term starts today I won't get chance to go to a real shop until Nov and had vowed to be done by then so had a cruise around a few. didn't find much I suppose it is a bit too early for everyone else. My B&M doesn't even have the sacks

TK Maxx has some wooden crate make your own hamper kits for £6.99 which seemed pricey but haven't seen any others to compare

AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings · 21/10/2020 11:31

@Icantfindanewname

Oh wonderful bargain hunters, please help with a non- Christmasy bargain. I'm about to finish chemo in about 3 weeks and would love to buy the chemo staff (nurses, HCAs, domestics) some lovely teas/coffees/hot chocolate etc to have in their well deserved breaks (they seem to get loads of sweets / chocolates so I wanted something a little different - I'm also open to any other ideas). Although they are definitely worth the full price, the bargain hunter in me wonders if there are there any bargains to be had?
Aldi and Lidl do beanies flavoured coffee sachets which are lovely
Smileatthesmallthings · 21/10/2020 11:42

My Molton Brown order arrived. I wish I'd spent more and just kept it all for me - it all smells divine!! And the gift box which I didn't realise I'd ticked is lovely, shame I'm splitting the contents for gifts really.

sunnyday1976 · 21/10/2020 11:45

@JoanneCofton thanks for the Sho recommendation. I saw 50% off a while back, but the only code I can see that works at the moment there is one for a free coffee cup. Thank you though.

Queuing4Fergs · 21/10/2020 11:55

Not a bargain but more of a grumble Blush

I went to Saunsburys yesterday to take advantage of the 25% off Tu offer, hoping to get some Xmas pj's or jumpers for my two DS. They had girls' stuff but nothing for boys. Even the normal clothes were utterly depressing - all grey, khaki and black. Life is depressing enough!

I spoke to an assistant there who said perhaps the boys' stuff just hadn't come in yet (in which case grrrr given the discount) and to check online. So I did. No boys stuff on there either.

Is this just my sainsburys? It's usually pretty good. Has anyone seen anything in their local stores?

covidmonkey · 21/10/2020 11:59

The velvetiser from qvc arrived. It was supposed to be Xmas present for dh but I want to try it! So I will give to him tonight as an early Xmas present.
