@Sunshineskies yep! I've actually got a couple from primark. They're actually supposed to be for swimming costumes/bikinis. One is drawstring and the other has a zip. They're basically washable waterproofed lined clutch bags. You could also look into diving bags they might have a super small one?

Smileatthesmallthings · 16/10/2020 19:09

Thanks for the vodka - a bottle winging it's way here for my nature loving, vodka drinking mum :)

Notlongnow1 · 16/10/2020 19:09

Babipur have a huge range of wet bags which would work and while not a bargain all ethically produced etc. Some also have a dry zip section to separate wet and dry items.

@Sunshineskies I have these wet bags for nappies etc but I'm sure you could find a similar product in a more grown up style:
www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B081P3NWQ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4qEIFbVTJT54J?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

For toiletries I have a pack of 3 clear plastic toiletry bags so I would just put the wet flannel in the smallest one, zip it up and put the whole thing inside the next size bag. But they're totally unattractive and definitely not a gift!

Dreamingofwalden · 16/10/2020 19:26

@Notlongnow1

I came here to suggest Babipur too Grin. We use cloth nappies so I have lots of wet bags. Our best wet and dry bags are definitely PlanetWise. They don’t let any liquid escape. I have one that is a pencil case size that we use for straws and face cloths on family days out. Not the cheapest but a brilliant product and ethical too. Planetwise wetbag

Thank you so much! I just managed to get a toy for my little one for £2.99 instead of £7.99! Amazing! Really appreciate it SmileFlowers
MsMiaWallace · 16/10/2020 20:02

Lol just went to use this code & I guess it's gone :(

Anyone else have an Argos code they don't want?

Lazysundayafternoons · 16/10/2020 20:03

@Spam88

It concerns me when people talk about their massive box of presents...I have several massive boxes and I'm not finished Blush

Those B&M sacks are lovely! But I definitely definitely don't need any.

😂😂 that was me with one massive box - to be fair, it depends on the size of the presents and how neatly you can pack them in the box Grin I've become very good at it!

(Separately, aside from that Santa shopping box, the baby no longer has the use of his playpen as it is filled with presents for everyone else I know).

Jacopone · 16/10/2020 20:18

@UselessInDisguise, the Sapling vodka is good indeed. Their small company had a stand at last year’s Ideal Home Christmas Exhibition. I The guys promoting it were knowledgeable, passionate and genuine. Theirs was one of the experiences that stood out in the whole event. I came home with a nice bottle. One of the biggest as I remember.Smile

Elphaba17 · 16/10/2020 20:39

Would anyone have an Argos code they would be willing to give away please? I have a basket full of stuff I keep deliberating over!

Just had an email from Tootsa - They have £10 off a £35 spend at the minute.

MsMiaWallace · 16/10/2020 21:07

Ooo what's the vodka offer please?

4Minions2CallMyOwn · 16/10/2020 21:19

@Resistanceisfruitful

I've folllowed these threads for the last couple of years and got some great bargains, so thank you all.

So my contribution is 50% off Sapling Vodka with code BIRTHDAY
Sapling Vodka

Very pretty bottles and for every bottle you buy they plant a tree and the bottle has a number on it and you can then see where your tree is planted.

This is the vodka offer that was posted Smile
TheLastStarfighter · 16/10/2020 21:36

@Emma10702 That Hype code was awesome! Thank you.

I got (all half price) school bags, gym bags, hoodies, joggers and T-shirt’s for my boys, and stuff for my nephew too. Hype apparently is (according to my kids) “a good brand for school because the cool people have Hype stuff, but it’s not trying too hard“ 😅

allatonce99 · 16/10/2020 21:41

How do you get Argos codes? I am signed up to all their emails and shop there a lot but hardly ever get emails from them and never codes?....

A few more codes I did get....

Free Delivery at shop Disney with code 6R7Q-ZVNP-TLDD-644B One time use but doesn't stack with the 20% discount on £50 spend (MICKEY20)

Bakedin recipe book for £9.99 instead of £15 with code EARLYBIRD LINK
