Has anyone seen a Christmas stocking in the same kind of velvet as the B&M sacks? Just plain red, nothing fancy.

I'm tempted to buy online but the ones I've seen in hobbycraft and JL don't look as good in the shop as they do online.

I've just picked up my free paperchase cards, nice little freebie!

My Sheepers lucky dip slippers arrived and they are ok, a tan colour with natural wool, both dds thought they were hilarious.

Givealittlebit · 16/10/2020 12:55

@uniqlo I hope you went for the next version! I've had mine for 4 years I think and it's still as gorgeously soft and lovely

GazingAndGrazing · 16/10/2020 13:06

@Crackery

Any recommendations for those hooded oodie things for an 8 yr old?
Have a look online for Cuddly Pet Snuggle Hoodie - Zips Into a Soft Toy
purplepandas · 16/10/2020 13:08

@deeplybaffled, does this work? Trawled through my emails to find it for you. link to offer for Turtle Doves

deeplybaffled · 16/10/2020 13:14

@purplepandas - perfect, thank you so much.

caffeineanddryshampoo · 16/10/2020 13:17

The badger slippers have disappeared off FatFace website Shock

They had some in natal an today. I didn't stop to check as I managed to get b&m but they looked nice

Home bargains had these cute stocking fillers. The toppers are 99p for a pack of 6, the snowman £1.49 & is filled with marshmallows & choc chips

Thanks so much for all the recommendations. @gazingandgrazing that site looks lovely. I'll definitely take a look later after the small ones are in bed.

I've just had this through the post if any good to anyone.

@Marypoppinsisnosaint my 3 yo is getting:

Dinosaur pen and pencils
Colour your own squishy (home bargains)
Flashing toothbrushes
Kaleidoscope
Kinetic sand tools
Bath sponge (she has eczema so can't have any exciting bubble baths or bath bombs, so we always get her a fun shaped sponge)
Stickers
Water bottle
Skeleton gloves
Necklace

Anyone struggling to WFH while wearing their oversized hoodie? It's making me want to curl up and have a nap! Definitely another thumbs up from me for the Sienna hoodie (on Amazon or direct from the OnlineHomeShop website).

@Crackery - there's a kids version of the Sienna hoodie for £9.99 here

InDreamland · 16/10/2020 13:55

Toik delivery yesterday of the Paddy and Scott's coffee, I'm so pleased I went for it, so beautifully boxed up, perfect Christmas present for my BIL. I'm really looking forward to giving it to him.

I'm going to try and get to a B&M for those stockings/sacks once I'm out of isolation. Reckon they'll be great to put my sister's and BIL gifts in.

Mumto3thatsme · 16/10/2020 14:00

zulily has the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Express for £57.99 seems a reasonable price, though likely to drop Black Friday I would imagine

Cherry321 · 16/10/2020 14:08

@Rosie2000

I have had an email saying my Claire’s order is being dispatched- missing most of the order as it was out of stock. They have refunded me only £1.50 and charged me full price for the items. Not impressed at all and will be returning the 4 items they have bothered to send.
This has happened to me too. Rubbish. It’s now costing more than the original order and with half the order missing Confused
Dreamingofwalden · 16/10/2020 14:15

@Dovesandkisses

Ah, they've just updated the price. Not a glitch but an amazing bargain. Tassimo coffee machine for 29.99 on Argos
Wow!! Thank you. Awesome bargain x
VaprousDropProfound · 16/10/2020 14:18

Photo of B &M sack.

Do you think it would be worth starting a thread for swap sites of the various letters. Like someone else on here, I would like an S sack (as easy wrapping for an oldie!)

VaprousDropProfound · 16/10/2020 14:20

Swapsies not swap sites and oodie not oldie. Obvs!

livingthegoodlife · 16/10/2020 14:29

Wish I had a b&m shop near me. Nearest one is about 30 miles or more.

@Emma10702 those choc things look great! Where abouts were they? Decorations aisle or sweets?

Lazysundayafternoons · 16/10/2020 14:30

Have a rare afternoon off work and the 1yo is in bed while ds is in school. Have been through my (massive) box of presents bought so far and am definitely finished now for the kids. I need to resist any further offers I spot for them, no matter how bargainous!

IDontDrinkTea · 16/10/2020 14:38

Ahh I think the new look jeans thing is over. Can’t get it to work for me anyhow!

TheLastStarfighter · 16/10/2020 14:39

Thank you @NerosFiddle. Perfect timing as I was about to order anyway.
Emma10702 · 16/10/2020 14:55

@Dovesandkisses thanks for the tassimo info. Was just talking about getting my mum one for Xmas this morning. I may have also got myself one!
Amazon has it at the same price now too

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 16/10/2020 15:03

For those looking for the hot choc toppers in Home Bargains, they also have a pack of gingerbread biscuit characters that have a V in the legs so they perch over the cup rim (a rubbish description if ever there was one!) But they're very cute!

I've found with HB that things tend to be in the aisles with the normal products, so Santa handwash with the general pump soaps, and festive hot chocolate stuff with the normal hot choc etc rather than in the seasonal aisles.
