Reastie · 03/10/2020 12:04

NEW INFO PLZ READ
**please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Name of link

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@Duckyneedsaclean
Thanks for that information. I checked and the items I wanted did have that banner, so I've bought them and my credit came through Smile

STARE2016 · 05/10/2020 22:00

Was there a Disney store code floating about or did I imagine it? I've scrolled back through but can't see it. Went on to look at the mugs but got distracted by the new ladies nightwear. Seen a perfect set for a close friend but tis a bit over budget!

Ewock · 05/10/2020 22:14

@Shitfuckoh

Can I just say thank you to whoever posted the Usborne book & puzzle info? I ordered the 'twas the night before Christmas' one & I've opened to look (It'll be in the 1st Dec box from the Elf!) and it's fantastic. The pieces will be ideal for my youngest too. I'd like another one in a Christmas / Winter theme so will be keeping an eye out.
Can I ask what this is please? Thanks
Ewock · 05/10/2020 22:18

Ignore me I've found it. Looks lovely. My son has a version of the Night before Christmas and I was thinking of getting my dd one as well.

Duckyneedsaclean · 05/10/2020 22:24

Thanks @PinkDaydreams

I tried my Blue Light Card discount code with the mug offer and it didn't work.

I'm sorry I can't remember who was asking about coffee taster packs but this deal looks good for a gifting option. 4 bags of coffee & a weeks supply of coffee bags for £15.99 & free shipping

[[https://paddyandscotts.shop/products/fuelling-ambition-starter-pack?utm]]source=facebook&utmmmedium=cpc&utmterm=ROIHUNTER&utmmcampaign=TOF+%7C+Interests--Nature&utmcontent=at1%2124584174&utmmid=at1%2124584174&fbclid=IwAR3o-DgdcW7rFq70zCd0S-GRbzS4KR41HHOBlsUVC5a8JXXd4SK-yfclF8

This coffee is fab, we know the ‘Scott’ of Paddy and Scott’s, such a nice guy whose business has really suffered in lockdown as they supply lots of hotels and coffee shops. I’ve ordered 2 of these boxes as presents.

@4Minions2CallMyOwn

Hi. I was just wondering what the consensus was in the end on the Royal Mail note some people got stating they needed to pay £1.50 postage so that their item could be delivered?

I’ve just received one and not sure if I should pay or not as I think I recall some people saying it was a scam? Thanks

My £3 bill was for two packs of uno ordered through onbuy Angry
sorryiasked · 05/10/2020 22:45

Morrisons sale have mens slippers for £5.50 and packs of 5 kids socks for £2 here

sorryiasked · 05/10/2020 22:49

And "girls" dinosaur socks

XFPW · 05/10/2020 22:50

Checking in for another year.

(Well.... placemarking actually so that I don’t forget AGAIN to check in tomorrow while I’m trying to find something to do to pass the time at work.)

Covid, delayed house move and a new job mean I have barely started yet this year - nothing more than the bits and pieces I bought in sales at the start of the year! I’m normally pretty much done by now. Confused

Puffalicious · 05/10/2020 23:02

Shrillharridan so glad I could help. Enjoy. It's my DHs favourite thing in the house (well apart from me and the kids!).

ApplesinmyPocket · 05/10/2020 23:22

tabbycat985 thanks for the coffee link, ordered one for my coffee-loving daughter.

Shufflebum glad to know we've helped a decent business a bit in these hard times!

threesenoughthanks · 05/10/2020 23:35

@Shufflebum Thanks for that. I've just ordered the starter kit.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 05/10/2020 23:36

@sorryiasked, do you know if these are bigger or smaller sizes? If the 4-5.5 (for example) is a tween size or teeny?!

Shrillharridan · 05/10/2020 23:45

...aaaaand I've ordered the coffee too. Thank you!

Hophop26 · 05/10/2020 23:47

@Shitfuckoh the puzzle and book sets are really lovely, I got the ‘‘twas night before Christmas too and also the Nativity one (2 dcs). There’s also a Winter Wonderland one

WithIcePlease · 05/10/2020 23:49

Got the coffee - thank you
And the kukubird leggings with help from PP's which I'm so happy about for yoga obsessed DD
I must sort out the presents though as jenga like in the bottom of my wardrobes

passremarkable · 05/10/2020 23:57

@Duckyneedsaclean

I am getting increasingly stressed by the B&M initial stockings.. I have 5 out of 6 but can't find a J!

It's only October so I'm show I'll get one by Christmas, but the staff at my local B&M are noticing my frequent trips Blush

@Duckyneedsaclean They had "J" in the B&M in Runcorn yesterday... I don't know if you could phone store and have it sent to your local branch??
passremarkable · 06/10/2020 00:16

@shufflebum @tabbycat985 I've ordered the coffee too. Thank you!

I've also done the Lisa Angel sale

Thank you so much!

Rockhopper81 · 06/10/2020 00:29

@CoffeeAndEnnui - in sock sizes, 4-5.5 would usually be 'adult' sizes in girls, so tween/teen sized. I say this as the boys equivalent is 4-6.5 and they usually fit my size 7 feet (I like patterned socks and kids are cheaper!).

UK sock sizes generally (the biggest can vary slightly depending on shop):

0-2.5
3-5.5
6-8.5
9-12
12.5-3.5
4-5.5 (girls) / 4-6.5 (boys)

I can't seem to make a Morrison's account to order though for some reason - it won't search using my postcode and there isn't a way to bypass it...😕
