Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

@KavvLar I am not sure what it means. Has anyone else who has had a code off someone had any issues? I instantly entered it but maybe even she speed I did it, was too slow x

Givealittlebit · 02/10/2020 21:49

Someone last year recommended a brilliant website to me for people into their science/maths/geeky things, it was fab for my brother but I can't remember the name! Can anyone recall it?

Also any recommendations for bargainous and lovely scarfs for husbands gran? I missed the Dunedin bargains

Willow4987 · 02/10/2020 21:51

@buckeejit is the M&S sale in store only or online as well? I’ve been digging around their app and can’t find it

littlestpogo · 02/10/2020 21:52

Just to say thanks again for all the recommendations for the soft hoody for my DS. Have caught up and can see other kind posters also recommended some others - am going to have a good browse ( and means I can get one for him and a different one for his brotherSmile)

JinglesWish · 02/10/2020 21:57

Thanks @UselessInDisguise Just ordered 4 boxes of Lindt balls to add to teacher presents!

I’m addicted to this thread. Might need to step away soon. I’ve made a spreadsheet to keep track of everything I’ve ordered to make sure I actually remember the deliveries that are due!!

My DD has been banging on about a giant rabbit like this
www.jellycat.com/bashful-beige-bunny-bas3b/

I just can’t justify spending they much on a stuffed toy! Anyone know if they ever go on sale?

snowfairylover · 02/10/2020 22:08

@Whyisitsodifficult

They are on John Lewis so maybe if anyone has any discount codes for their website? Sorry this isn't much help.

RubySlippers77 · 02/10/2020 22:11

@Whyisitsodifficult - Temptation Gifts have a small reduction on Jellycat products and sometimes offer a bigger discount if you sign up to their newsletter. They have other lovely stuff on their website too Smile

deeplybaffled · 02/10/2020 22:12

I’ve bought the Pact coffee advent calendar a few times and it has gone down well, so can recommend it!

Carrie76 · 02/10/2020 22:19

@mummyof2boys30 this is the tracker my boys have, got them about 2 years ago and find them great. They charge them about once a fortnight and you can wear them swimming too fitness tracker

jocktamsonsbairn · 02/10/2020 22:33

Nowordforfluffy - thank you for code! I meant to message earlier!

Puffalicious · 02/10/2020 22:35

I managed to get 3 Tshirts from Rocket and Rose for a fiver each eventually. If anyone else having issues you need to add each one then press the back button to order the next etc.

WaitWhatOh · 02/10/2020 22:36

@NeedMoreTea

I'm sure there was a coffee advent calendar that was really popular last year. Does anybody remember what it was called? I've looked online but none of the ones coming up sound familiar.
Yumbles do one. Its about £24

Thank you, that looks perfect and great can change straps. Will have a look tomorrow but reviews look fantastic

Whyisitsodifficult · 02/10/2020 22:40

@RubySlippers77 thanks I’ll take a look. @snowfairylover John Lewis don’t seem to do discount codes do they, thanks though. So expensive 🙄.

buckeejit · 02/10/2020 22:42

@Willow4987 sorry I was in a real shop. Not sure about online...

Sunshineskies · 02/10/2020 22:42

Karen Millen 30% off everything and extra 20% off sale with code sale.

buckeejit · 02/10/2020 22:43

Actually thinking about it, I think they wouldn't have such big reductions online - recently their stock has been offloaded to Oxfam round here

Willow4987 · 02/10/2020 22:48

@buckeejit ah ok! Will see if I can find anything in our local one

Sometimes only a giant rabbit will do Grin
snowfairylover · 02/10/2020 23:00

Does anyone have any discount codes for build a bear? October sale is on but no deals on Baby Yoda :(

lotusbell · 02/10/2020 23:02

@Givealittlebit, is it Present Indicative? Already suggested upthread but it was definitely what spring to mind when I saw your post. Fab shop.

Givealittlebit · 02/10/2020 23:02

@Elskerdeg amazing thank you!

wibdib · 02/10/2020 23:09

@Whyisitsodifficult Costco have done giant bunnies that are very closely related to their giant bears and monkeys. Think they might come out more around Easter than Christmas though. Worth keeping an eye out as they’re about 5 foot tall and £20ish...

Other places such as Asda and Wilco have started doing similar large cheap cuddlies so you should be able to find something massive and cheapv(at Easter if not now - make up a message about hibernating bunnies!)
