Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

littlestpogo · 02/10/2020 12:10

Thank you @EnglishRose1320 - by chance I was just looking at those! It’s great to have a recommendation as so hard to tell online what they feel like ( my DS also asd and is very particular about clothes! Always slightly stressful buying for him - luckily my youngest is extremely easygoing and happy to accept all the ‘wrong’ buys Grin)

OneoftheseBoxes · 02/10/2020 12:16

Thanks for all the help everyone. Beautiful Fiver Friday t-shirts at Rocket and Rose

EnglishRose1320 · 02/10/2020 12:20

@littlestpogo yes my youngest ds is use to having clothes his brother has declared don't feel right!

Does anyone know of any decent magazine subscriptions for men, outdoorsy or gardening, small holding type thing maybe. I got the country living one for my DM and would like to try and find one for my DF as well.

Just been to b&m. Got some nice Xmas bits. I got a cinema pack with popcorn & sweets for £5 & an Xmas decoration painting set for £4. I usually do the kids a gift from the elves on 1 dec (I know....wish I hadn’t started) so covered this now

Just ordered 2 Emma Bridgewater mugs from Liberty. DD is working towards Oxbridge in 2 years time so I got her the Oxford and the Cambridge mug. 20% is fine because despite EB themselves doing offers their postage abroad is daylight robbery and I shall never order from them directly. They make Cox and Cox £20 postage to Italy look bargainous. Bought a posh Liberty bauble too.
My gold pretty jigsaw and bargainous candle just came. My Range and H&B parcels are at the local stationer's for collection and the fella said to bring the car. Blush

PattyPan · 02/10/2020 12:35

@EnglishRose1320 there are often deals about for Gardeners’ world magazine if that would work?

g1c2d3 · 02/10/2020 12:37

Has anyone received their Penhaligon’s order. I placed mine on Monday but no dispatch email or anything from them yet. The code mentioned above did not work when I tried to order the ladies fragrance collection although it seems to be a valid code. What am I doing wrong?

Amazonmulu · 02/10/2020 12:38

I know puppets were a few threads ago... but if anyone still wanted them, they are back down in price on Amazon.

@littlestpogo

Hello everyone

Sorry no bargain this share but just wanted to ask if anyone has seen boys teddy fleece hoodies - not zip up ones but over the head ones ( ideally with no zips at all!) and very very soft? It’s for my DS (8) who has sensory issues. If anyone spots any I’d be very grateful to know!

What about something like this, sorry I didn't know if you meant for lounging in or not here

VividImagination · 02/10/2020 12:47

@OneoftheseBoxes Thank you for the rocket and rose link. That’s 3 personalised T-shirt’s, to go with the Gruffalo books, for dh’s great gc. What a saving.

Emma10702 · 02/10/2020 12:50

@g1c2d3 that code wouldn’t work for me on internet explorer but did on Firefox so maybe try that.
I have received despatch emails today for my other orders but I think I will be returning them now I’ve got the gift set.

snowmanshoes · 02/10/2020 12:53

Dunelm has overhead fluffy lounging hoodies but think they have a half zip - all their ‘teddy’ section is really comfy and lots of items

g1c2d3 · 02/10/2020 13:03

Thanks Emma. I guess I have to be patient re my order. The gift set I would have bought for myself at that price, so not that vital to have but might just try on Firefox in hope it works for me as well.

Bluewavescrashing · 02/10/2020 13:05

Ordered Rocket and Rose t shirts. Thanks!

lexloofah · 02/10/2020 13:10

@wizzbangfizz they had those Hollywood mirrors in my B&M yesterday

Lazysundayafternoons · 02/10/2020 13:17

@Willow4987

If anyone sees a remote controlled ride on car similar to the image I’d appreciate a nudge in the right direction

I begrudge paying £180 + £10postage but I can’t be pushing that blasted red and yellow car around the garden anymore

It’s got to have 2 seats (for each DS, can you imagine the fights otherwise) and have a remote Grin

@Willow4987 did you try rideon warehouse? We got a white range rover reduced to £60 from there a couple of months ago, have it put away for Christmas. It has a remote control with it. I think it's a one seater but they might also have 2 seaters available.
thelegohooverer · 02/10/2020 13:20

Can anyone recommend a basketball hoop laundry basket? For once I don’t mind paying a bit more for one that isn’t too flimsy, though, as always, a bargain would also be good.
