Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

princessbear80 · 02/10/2020 10:55

Yes please for your matalan £75 @UselessInDisguise, I’ve pm’d you.

FrolickingLemon · 02/10/2020 10:55

Pinkjam I often get Boden codes, but nothing at the minute. I'll keep a lookout though. In the meantime, you can get some fairly decent cashback on Topcashback. Depending if you are a new customer or returning one.

UselessInDisguise · 02/10/2020 10:57

All yours @princessbear80 the last one! It's in your inbox, Enjoy Smile

Has anyone seen any lava lamps or Hollywood style mirrors (with lights) - both on DD's list!

VividImagination · 02/10/2020 11:01

@PinkJam I have a referral code for £20 off if you are a new customer. PM me if it’s any help.

littlestpogo · 02/10/2020 11:04

@PinkJam - H7L3 is 15% off at Boden. Might be worth waiting though as there is usually at least one 20% a month

spub · 02/10/2020 11:07

@whizzbangfizz not v bargainous tho...

@iamawally

NC - I am such a wally. Was so excited to find guinea pig PJs for DD at Boden that I ordered them without thinking about referral codes or cashback or anything so paid full price and postage. I deserve to be kicked out of this group, total rookie error.

Anyway, don't be a wally like me, if you are ordering something from Boden (first time customer) I now have a £20 off code so pm me if you can use it

Contact them and they may add the code retrospectively for you. I did that once (admittedly two or three years ago now) and they said they couldn't add the code but they added a credit to my account for the same value so I could order again using the credit and return the first order.
PinkJam · 02/10/2020 11:10

@FrolickingLemon Thank you, appreciate that Smile

@VividImagination Thank you, Is there a minimum spend?

@littlestpogo Thank you very much. I am wanting a dress each for my two nieces for their Christmas presents, so just worried they may run out of the sizes I need if I wait.

carrietwick · 02/10/2020 11:12

Thank you for the mini perfume set from Penhaligon perfect for my mum.

FrolickingLemon · 02/10/2020 11:13

@wizzbangfizz B&M had lava lamps when I was in yesterday. Either Disney (depending on age?) Or bluetooth speaker ones. The bluetooth speaker ones looked brilliant. I swear I also saw mirrors with lightbulbs, but can't find on website.

Grrrpredictivetex · 02/10/2020 11:17

@UselessInDisguise

No worries *@Grrrpredictivetex* I have just sent you it as a PM, check your inbox, Grin
Thank you. Got a bit carried away Grin Thanks everyone I'm getting a bit Christmassy now 🎄 Glitterball
Sunshineskies · 02/10/2020 11:19

Thank you for the penhaligon set and liberty heads up.

As a pp has said, Liberty has a few things at low prices for stocking fillers or perfect for those hard to buy for people. Things like chocolate golf balls, motorbikes, rugby balls I think will go down well with some of my family who are difficult to find things for. Also if you’re doing hampers, some nice biscuits, tea bags etc for decent prices.

Willow4987 · 02/10/2020 11:21

If anyone sees a remote controlled ride on car similar to the image I’d appreciate a nudge in the right direction

I begrudge paying £180 + £10postage but I can’t be pushing that blasted red and yellow car around the garden anymore

It’s got to have 2 seats (for each DS, can you imagine the fights otherwise) and have a remote Grin

VividImagination · 02/10/2020 11:21

@pinkjam I don’t know. I could PM and you could try it if you like.

VividImagination · 02/10/2020 11:25

@PinkJam I’ve sent it to you. You can give it a try and see if it helps 😊

littlestpogo · 02/10/2020 11:33

@PinkJam - the referral is a minimum £80 spend ( you can’t use it with other discounts )

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 02/10/2020 11:36

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight
I've just had this Mindfulness Puzzle Book delivered as a little payday treat to myself. Only £3.99 but it's lovely quality and has a good range of puzzles and creative exercises.

Also, I'd highly recommend Journal 29 for anyone into escape room games. It's an interactive game book, so you solve puzzles, submit the answer online and get a clue for the next puzzle. I got one for my birthday during lockdown and it keep me entertained for hours! It'd be good to do as a group too I think.

Elskerdeg · 02/10/2020 11:40

@wizzbangfizz
In Primark they had some battery powered Hollywood style lights that you can stick on any mirror.
They were in the makeup section with the see through jewellery and makeup stands rather than in the homeware section.
