Thanks @Anydreamwilldo12 for thread title

please read the thread is moving so fast atm and it’s pretty hard to keep up! I was just wondering on people’s thoughts on this so did a super quick questionnaire here . I’m not sure we’ll find a perfect answer to suit everyone but would love your feedback on if it’s an issue or not.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

I've now received all 3 things from OnBuy and really pleased with all of them. Cards against Disney was an absolute bargain for £18, it's usually twice the price.

£5 off a £25 spend in The Body Shop: 13025
No idea if this is single purpose or general use, apologies in advance.

CactusForever · 01/10/2020 16:34

I should have mentioned that packaged gifts and the advent calendar are not includedn ^

KillZill · 01/10/2020 16:34

Just FYI anyone who has recently bought the Ice cream cart.
Mine has just arrived without packaging so beware if DC are hanging around.... I'm not too bothered as my two won't notice but the the box is a little beat up too if it is being gifted.

Smileatthesmallthings · 01/10/2020 16:34

Tesco had a few reduced Harry Potter lego kits in store. Not sure what people were after but the reductions seemed pretty good (£12-17 off iirc)

I can't get the link to work but here's a screenshot:

@KillZill thank you so much for the heads up. I'll stop encouraging my DD to come to the door with me for something fun to do! 🤣🙈

wibdib · 01/10/2020 16:51

I’m whizzing through the posts to get to my starting point (haven’t been around much today!) and had to stop to look st the fancy wrapped toilet - only to discover it was @Brogues gift wrapped and be-hampered iced bucket plus extra goodies ShockHmmConfusedGrinBlush

Reading up through the thread I kept looking for at least a remark or two about only to finally get to @Brogues explanatory post when all became clear... except my eyes - time for a trip to opticians methinks! (And I cant see that being very bargainous).

doggyg · 01/10/2020 16:51

@Justnapping I hope you don't mind but I used your code too! That's over £100 of Molton Brown stuff I've bought in the past week thanks to these threads... I really need to stop reading them!!

TheGirlWithGlassFeet · 01/10/2020 16:59

Code GSG20 takes 20% off orders over £10 at The Works

Justnapping · 01/10/2020 17:07

Fab @doggyg! Great to get £10 off 🤩

BeGoneDom · 01/10/2020 17:07

Got to Home Bargains today and failed on both Barbies and hot chocolate gifts. But they did have some cute snowman bath fizzers for 79p (looked like 3 little fizzers) and Santa and Elf face masks (the pampering kind - wouldn't have had to stipulate that a year ago!) for 69p each. Thought they'd make nice little stocking fillers.

thelegohooverer · 01/10/2020 17:26

Does anyone else get a lovely feeling when you click on this thread and find 2 or 3 whole pages of bargains to read through...quickly followed by a mild panicky sensation that you might have missed out on an amazing time sensitive deal? I may be getting a little addicted Xmas Smile

MooseyMoo · 01/10/2020 17:28

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts £49 - I bought direct from company. I don’t have Prime but also trying to spend money at other retailers then just Amazon this Christmas.

Brogues · 01/10/2020 17:39

Haha @wibdib Grin

Someaddedsugar · 01/10/2020 17:44

@Goldistheanswer I can order it for delivery to your house if that would help?

CoffeeAndEnnui · 01/10/2020 17:44

Another lovely ribbon site with a handy discount at the moment is Fantastic Ribbons. You can apply their "october20" to bundles too, making some of the 74 metre Christmas sets jolly good value!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 01/10/2020 17:46

2nd class postage is only £2.70 for the ribbon site above. Or free for purchases over £20, which my overflowing basket is looking likely to be...
